Can anyone recommend a not too pricey balm to oil cleanser, or maybe oil, to remove sunscreen, please?

Thanks!

Emma Hardie moringa balm, smells so beautiful too, makes me feel like I'm in an expensive spa!

lucysmam · 16/06/2023 21:30

Oh, brilliant, thank you all! I've ordered the small DHC with my Superdrug order, for now, but will do some googling of the others in the morning with my brew.

I have used the Banila one before actually and found it nice, along with a few other Korean ones but haven't for years.

I like the Body Shop one and the M&S one upthread but currently on my second tub of Superdrug B Melting Cleansing Balm - they now do it in a 120g tub.

Anjelika · 16/06/2023 22:00

The Superdrug large tub is only £8.49 if you've got a Superdrug loyalty card!

NomDePlumeForThis · 16/06/2023 23:06

Elemis is lovely.

cantwaittocruise · 16/06/2023 23:15

I like the Inkey List one but I think I’d prefer a jar/tub over a tube. It’s the wrong consistency for a tube.

The Clinique one is nice too.

Startyabastard · 16/06/2023 23:18

Not a balm, but micellar water is good at getting suncream off.

Copperoliverbear · 16/06/2023 23:19

Same as @icelollycraving

APurpleSquirrel · 16/06/2023 23:21

Sukin's Super Greens Cleansing Oil is lovely, though I use it in the morning. At night I use Sukin's Signature Cream Cleanser.

Deathraystare · 17/06/2023 11:13

On another post a while back I was rather scathing about the Elemis one (orange coloured). However it does a fab job of removing even my mascara very quickly that I take it all back. That said, I have lot of other ones to use. Cheaper too.

Yes! I found it so hard to squeeze out! I didn't buy a second tube because it was so tricky.

Emma Harding is my favourite but it's pricier, Aldi's Lacura one does the job if you can find it in stock.

Another fan of body shop camomile

Fancyateapottea · 17/06/2023 16:39

I’ve tried a lot and my favourites are oils, especially DHC and Elemis - the omega one. I do really like the Body Shop balm too, but the lid is very annoying and I had 2 get stuck so I won’t buy them again

LoveLabradors · 17/06/2023 17:09

The M and S pure balm as recommended by others on here, and their pure micellar cleansing oil is fab too. I’ve also bought the M and S apothecary balm too but haven’t started it yet. I also like balance me super berry balm (but it’s very pricey so have only got it as part of a kit deal) and the Evolve cleansing balm is gorgeous too.

HappiDaze · 17/06/2023 18:02

I use the No 7 one that comes in a lilac and white tube. I think they have a similar one that comes in a pot that lots of people love.

Robinonaspade · 17/06/2023 18:17

I like Clinique take the day off, but have found the ordinary squalane cleanser to be just as effective and more reasonably priced.

TheFormidableMrsC · 17/06/2023 18:23

Sali Hughes. That whole range is divine.

Elf holy hydration cleansing balm.

I never used to be that precious over a cleanser but my god it's incredible.

Yep, this is my recommendation. It works so well and leaves my skin really soft. Melts off my makeup too.

mrssmiling · 17/06/2023 19:18

Have used the Lacura cleansing balm which is excellent, but not available, and the M&S Rose one - very good indeed. I used to use Eve Lom, but have found some cheaper alternatives just as good. This is a lovely product too https://www.lyonsleaf.co.uk/?gad=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIybCJ4PPK_wIV0urtCh3vrAg4EAAYASAAEgK07fD_BwE
It’s on offer at the moment.

Lyonsleaf Beauty Balm.

WhatWouldTheDoctorDo · 17/06/2023 19:34

Jane Scrivner nourishing cleanser. Sometimes get offers on QVC. I love it, not the cheapest but lasts for ages.

Stressyfab · 17/06/2023 19:35

Ultrabland by lush can’t recommend it enough!

hattyhathat · 17/06/2023 19:40

The green clean

reallyworriedjobhunter · 17/06/2023 19:44

Was also coming to say Farmacy Green Clean but you beat me to it. It's ace.

TheFormidableMrsC · 17/06/2023 18:23

Sali Hughes. That whole range is divine.

I found it pretty average, and the balm wasn't suitable to remove eye makeup.
