Air drying fine wavy hair to not frizz

I’ve got fine (but lots of it) highlighted long hair. I can dry/wave it to look good with heat/ product but it always looks a state when left to air dry- a kind of mix of frizzy kinky cotton wool waves.
away on holiday next week and would love to be able to air dry. Any tips for product/ method for those with similar hair?

I'm going to try the grapefruit sized blob of mousse tomorrow and see if that works - thanks!

Not tried it, but got my eye on JVN air dry cream, which gets good reviews.

I came to say the same! I’ve had my eye on it for months but not ordered it yet. I don’t have the same hair type as OP but it is wavy if left to it’s own devices and would love to find something I could just stick on and leave it. Salt sprays etc have that horrible crunchiness

I put mine in a plait to dry and then tease out with my fingers. Leave in conditioner or oil helps it to stop frizzing.

Definitely use plenty of product. Mine is fine, and wavy but I have a lot of it. Each strand is v fine if that makes sense, the waves drop easily and it needs lots of protein
This was with treluxe serum and gel and I scrunched out the crunch with some Nuxe dry oil

Thanks so much everyone for all your replies.
I’ll try a couple of the suggested products to see how I get on. I’m definitely not going to try the full curly girl method, I couldn’t stand sopping wet hair but will see how I get on with the lazy variation suggested.
I had read about the JVN air dry crème but reviews suggest it’s much better for other hair types than mine so don’t think I’ll bother with that one.
