Plus size floaty dresses without tiers and ruffles

That’s it basically, struggling to find these .

Want long/maxi or long midi and not sleeveless .Ideally not floral, but that’s pushing it in terms of narrowing the selection long with other asks.

Loose fitting .
Ideally up to £50.

Struggling to find this length , with sleeves and loose and floaty .

Filter by size/brand/ cost. Shops like East tend to do floaty , natural fibres in non- florals but slightly out of budget new.

That’s a bit too hippy for my tastes .
im going with longer and floaty , and not sleeveless, as want to hide a bit . Got large calves and ankles ( cankles ?). Flabby arms .

id love a shorter sharper dress, but not got the body for it !

Yes, it does seem if you’re plus size you are expected to wear floral !

Quite like that, would like a little longer but may be longer in me as 5.5.

Like the black and white, but again it has tiers . Bit at least long sleeves and not floral !

the first I don’t think would suit my shape .

3rd sadly not large enough sizes .

last one too short to wear bare legged .

can wear that length when wear tights in winter .

will take a nosey . Last time I looked they didn’t have much in my size, but will look again.

I quite like this if the colour would suit you. I have several similar for wafting around in. It seems expensive to me for second hand but you could always make a cheeky offer.

All my summer dresses are from Shein. All very flattering. I'm the same size as you.

I had good luck with Matalan of all places last year. Size 22, knew length, floaty and with sleeves.

More than £50 but I just bought a dress from Scarlett and Jo and it's just perfect in terms of floaty not frilly. Also, options other than floral!

Have a look at Laura Adlington’s Instagram feed. She’s a size 24/26 IIRC and wears lots of dresses that I think might inspire you.

It’s hard to tell from the photo , but not sure about pleats and it has puffy sleeves . I’ve made mistakes before with photos not showing how something looks .

I have bought them off eBay . Bit they tend to be more dressy and going out ones. I’m looking more day to day . But I’ll take a look at the site and eBay/ Vinted as I do like them . See if any longer ones. I’d forgotten about them as the d4esses I have are winter and shorter so wear with tights .

I would say with H&M sizing that they are coming up big this year in their more roomy stuff. I'm anywhere from a 16-20 in various shops but I've had to size down to Medium in H&M and in one skirt a small, which would make their L/XL sizes somewhere around 20/22 if not a bit bigger

Worth having a browse of their website, I’ve been happy with everything I’ve bought from it (except jeans but they’re a nightmare to buy generally!). Comes up large - size down.

I bought a really flattering kaftan last year, one size fits me (size 24) with room to spare. It was from Cool Kaftan and I liked it so much I bought another one this summer, now sold on Amazon. At £20, I think it a bargain!

Mind you, I mainly wear them around the house and garden, I’ve not been brave enough to wear it out of the house but I plan to wear my new one at a friends garden party later this week.

I think you would have to be fairly tall though as they are rather long, I’m 5ft 7 ins and they are almost floor length.

I’ve bought loads from Shein and I’m very happy. I got a lovely maxi dress for €17 just last week

@MoiraRoseForever look at the Dove dress from silk fred/dancing leopard. No ruffles, long sleeves and belt can cinch you in at the waist.
