I'm going to siesta on the sun lounger, kick it if I snore. I had an early start this morning 🌄

Will put a fringe tiara (my favourite) in my shopping list - I'm sure Waitrose will not let me down.

I liked Catherine's dress a lot more when she stood up and the buttons were balanced by the plainer skirt half.

Fringe tiara - can't go wrong. I favour a Kokoshnik myself.

I wonder whether we will see the black version of today's coat at a future, more sombre, engagement. I prefer the black version tbh.

Ah, there's a black version. It's quite dramatic.

I like all the TtC dresses and hats today - I sometimes wonder if PoW and QC coordinate hat sizes: “you go Large on that hat this year, I’ll go Large next year and you can do the diagonal brim thing instead to ring the changes if you want.”

I really love the picture of PoW, the King, the new Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Anne (the hardest one of all of them) in their bearskins and her hat as well.

Meghan’s casual look also right up my street. She looks great.

Having seen more pics of Kate's dress, I really don't like the buttons. Way too Per Una for me. Without them the dress would have been lovely, there was just no need to plonk big buttons on it.

Yes, I agree @notsuchafrugalkitty - I think it's a nice, clear green, and the buttons are an over embellishment. The hat looks great, though.

Not keen on the sparkly buttons today, the outfit didn’t need it, just the shamrock was enough.
We should have predicted the regiment links with the clothes though, we were too busy packing for the yacht trip and dropped the ball a bit there😁.
I loved Sophie’s outfit with the covered buttons at the side, very pretty.

Maybe they have to coordinate hat size or otherwise they won't fit into the carriage together!

Good point, @MrsLeonFarrell . Awkward if someone had to lean out over the side.

This is a great photo. Kate's dress is by Andrew Gn. Is that a departure for her? I don't think I've seen her wear the brand before.

Is it wrong that of all today's outfits I love - indeed covet - Charlotte's? I love a sailor dress.  I can't say I'm fond of POW's green outfit (Quality Street green triangle colour?).

Thanks Maireas. They look like they have a strap, but might be how she's walking. I've seen some similar on flattered and Clarks so would like to see a plain pic to see if they're similar, if that makes sense as they look lovely on.
