What was your last 'treat myself purchase?

Your last purchase that wasn't something you needed, but something you WANTED.

I feel guilty if I buy something I don't need, even if it's only a few quid. I think my last 'luxury' purchase was a £20 handbag!

I realise this doesnt come under S&B but it made me happy!

xogossipgirlxo · 08/06/2023 15:48

Lip gloss and mint shower gel from Tropic

Tulipblank · 08/06/2023 15:57

@TheMurderousGoose 1 litre conditioner, 1 litre shampoo. I usually buy it in very small qualities and use very sparingly. But realised that every time I used it someone would comment that my hair looked nice. So I thought bugger it. I can afford it and it makes me happy. I did feel quite Blush pressing the "buy" button!

I've just spent £50 on a plant pot. Really big splash out for me and could have managed with a £6 one but I wanted to treat myself!

A pair of shorts and a skort. Last summer I had to buy size 18s. I've lost tonnes of weight since then so last week, I bought size 8s. I needed them but it was also a bit of a milestone marker.

Wow, well done. Definitely deserved

Technically a £5 bunch of peonies from asda and they are BEAUTIFUL, and smell divine.
Bigger purchase though, these! They’re a little brighter/stronger pink in real life and just so cute.

@NeverThatSerious Love these, where are they from please?

EllaPaella · 08/06/2023 16:36

A beautiful merino wool jumper from Finisterre.
I've also treated myself to a new layered necklace from Abbott Lyon and a Charlotte Tilbury blusher after my beloved Clarins one finally ran out after 5 years.

BeaLola · 08/06/2023 16:38

2 skirts and a dress from Monsoon - ordered online so hope I will like them - needed separates for ease of Hospital treatment compared to dresses

Jo Malone vitamin E body scrub after it finally came back in stock

A "knitted" smart vest top from M&S to wear rather than just always wearing plain T-shirts with my skirts in summer

Two tree peonies for my garden and 2 bunches of ironies from M&S - they look glorious

Season0fTheWitch · 08/06/2023 16:42

A neverfull, wanted one for ages. Very happy with it!

WellTidy · 08/06/2023 17:03

I’ve been on a spending spree recently as none of my clothes fit. Most of it is M&S type prices (actually most of it is from M&S now that I think of it) but I’ve bought

seven long sleeve summer tops/shirts
two pairs of ankle grazer trousers to go with the tops
a belt
four midi dresses
one very comfortable for lounging round the house/garden when it’s hot dress
a skirt
a straw cross body bag
three pairs of sandals
a new set of gym gear

delighted with them all and thankfully it’s warmed up enough for me to wear them!

Just before my birthday - duty free - Clarins Moisture rich body lotion and then in Boots the day before Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser and Tonic shower gel - which meant I also got a load of nice free goodies.

Cotswoldmama · 08/06/2023 17:18

I've just bought myself a bottle of Dune my favourite perfume but it's so expensive. There's 15% off at Harvey Nichols online at the mo and my Halifax account gives me 7% cashback on my purchases there so it's the cheapest I can buy it for but still worked out at £90 though! Sooo much money for me.

JimnJoyce · 08/06/2023 17:28

ooh@Ohfgsjon are they citrussy?

Bansheed · 08/06/2023 17:28

Just bought this silk kaftan for my summer holiday. Have been waiting for it to go on sale for months.. utterly hedonistic but I have been obsessing over it

Ooh, that kaftan looks fabulous for wafting about in. Where's it from please?

speakout · 08/06/2023 17:40

A beautiful Japanese style kimono/dressing gown with a stunning print of cherry blossom from my favourite local charity shop.
It was marked down from £2 to 50p because part of the side seam had come apart- which I have now repaired.

Another one who's bought a necklace from Oliver Bonas. OB has been a big hit in this house over the last few days.

whoamI00 · 08/06/2023 18:09

L'occitaine perfume

TravellingSpoon · 08/06/2023 18:17

My birthday is coming up so I bought a hoodie from Art Disco.

It was £45 but its a present for myself and I get most of my clothes from Vinted so I am justifying it that way!

Dummycrusher · 08/06/2023 18:18

Sistersisterrr · 08/06/2023 14:02

@Dummycrusher wow! Congratulations! What’s it like / any pics?

@TheOwlChronicles is it any good? Very interested!

@Sistersisterrr here's a link to the diamond which includes lots of exciting pics and videos of the diamond and the various light grading. So exciting for a nerd like me :) and there's a picture of the setting it will go into, made with my great grandmother's wedding ring. I'm so excited!!!

I’m off work with an injury at the moment and I’m on sick pay so I’m not in a position to treat myself to anything extravagant. I’ve just subscribed to Kindle Unlimited on Amazon. I love to read but don’t have time/energy to do it as much as I’d like due to working long hours and shifts. It’s only a little indulgence but it’s cheered me up no end
