What was your last 'treat myself purchase?

Your last purchase that wasn't something you needed, but something you WANTED.

I feel guilty if I buy something I don't need, even if it's only a few quid. I think my last 'luxury' purchase was a £20 handbag!

A pair of Steve Madden sliders

Ohfgsjon · 07/06/2023 21:26

Perfume from M & S. Amongst the Orange Groves and Santorini Days. They've got some lovely new summer perfumes.

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 07/06/2023 21:28

Good point, @snoozingbaby1476 , it's certainly both of those.

My most recent indulgenct purchase to wear was a pair of vintage Ray Bans.

SweetSakura · 07/06/2023 21:30

Not a "thing" but was feeling horribly stressed and due to illness I can't exercise my way out of it like I normally would so I booked a massage and it was amazing,.and then on a whim I booked a few more treatments so I have them to look forward to over the next few weeks - indian head massage (never tried before) , a facial,.and a mani/pedi. Plus I booked the time off work to do them as well so have a few little half days off coming up using Flexi time Smile

GrinAndVomit · 07/06/2023 21:34

That £45 Zara dress that someone posted about wearing for their 50th on Mumsnet.
It arrived an hour ago. I love it.

Arewehumanorarewecupboards · 07/06/2023 21:34

@Ohfgsjon I love those.

My last spend was a facial which was stupidly relaxing.

I also treat myself once a month with the Liberty beauty box.

Arewehumanorarewecupboards · 07/06/2023 21:35

@GrinAndVomit (great name btw) which dress?

Wow, sounds amazing. i'm off to google local massage therapists...

My last few treat purchases were some perfume from Boots (on sale), some second hand books and a cashmere roll neck jumper that was also on sale, which is beautiful but I wont be able to wear until autumn.

Also treated myself to a coffee and a brownie today.

I bought myself an Edwardian sapphire and diamond ring (I love antique everything) and a bottle of Dior Dolce Vita because I am going on holiday to Italy soon and that’s what I will be living for 2 weeks.

Blackbirdssong · 07/06/2023 21:41

I treated myself quite a bit lately, these are my latest purchases

A green leather crossbody bag from Free People - so lovely for summer, and a blue and pink checked dress from Monki.

Not style and beauty but on Monday I picked up some oxblood peonies from Tesco and they are glorious!

MontagueLeo · 07/06/2023 21:45

I’ve just ordered a wool duvet from John Lewis. Very excited about it arriving

egowise · 07/06/2023 21:46

Marc Jacobs 'Decadence' eau de parfum

It was discontinued and I hadn't realised it was back!

It's absolutely stunning and I'm so glad to have it again!

AmberGer · 07/06/2023 21:46

Earrings. I think I have an addiction to acrylic ones 🤭

continentallentil · 07/06/2023 21:47

LindorDoubleChoc · 07/06/2023 20:52

Today - a £3.50 bunch of tulips.

This week - a face cream that cost £14! But I am absolutely delighted with it, I feel I might have found my new moisturiser.

@LindorDoubleChoc

ooh - is this moisturiser good for older/dry/dehydrated skin?! And if it is would you mind telling me what it is?

continentallentil · 07/06/2023 21:49

A somewhat chunky pair of silver hoop earrings, which I am v pleased with.

Have also ordered about 17 summer shirts of which I will keep 1 or 2.

My very first pair of Birkenstocks. They haven’t arrived yet but I’m very excited!

Oh I love mine! My last pair lasted around 10 years and I’ve only recently replaced them. They’re worth every penny!

I’ve just had my nails done, £35. Think I’ll start going one a month like I used to before covid

Wexone · 07/06/2023 21:51

@TheHandbag order direct of their website you get loads of samples

LolaSmiles · 07/06/2023 21:54

A nice, good quality cotton t shirt. It's very basic but feels beautiful and was on sale.

My new year resolution was to slowly replace my basics with good quality and natural fibres as they came to the end of their life.

GnomeDePlume · 07/06/2023 21:56

Some fabric to make myself a shirt and trousers. A bluey, greeny, grey batic print for the shirt and petrol coloured chino fabric for the trousers.

I have been on a five dress marathon for DD so now I am going to make something for myself.

Chocolatepeanutbuttercupsandicecream · 07/06/2023 21:56

I ordered make up from Clinique. Nothing super exciting, but I swear by their under eye concealer / lash primer / black mascara.

Ambi · 07/06/2023 21:57

A 2hr massage and facial. Absolutely bliss.

Nothingisblackandwhite · 07/06/2023 21:58

It’s going to sound ridiculous but I love coffee so I got myself a bean to cup machine fully digital makes dozens of coffee combinations . Costed £700 😏 but I love it
