What was your last 'treat myself purchase?

Your last purchase that wasn't something you needed, but something you WANTED.

I feel guilty if I buy something I don't need, even if it's only a few quid. I think my last 'luxury' purchase was a £20 handbag!

I had my nails "done" in a salon (only the 2nd time I've ever been in a salon, and I'm 64). £34, but they look so pretty.

New pair of Dubarry Galway boots. I've had my old ones for years and still wear them daily for gardening and dog walks. They aren't cheap but wear for wear are excellent value.

I have loved reading this thread.

Mine was a random purchase of a lip gloss/plumper from Milani, don't normally get glosses but this feels lovely and is so pretty, I've worn it constantly since!

A floaty summer dress. Don't need it but almost never buy myself anything and was shopping with a friend who spends a lot. I love the dress. Can't wait to wear it.

I know this is Style n Beauty but people seem to be including all sorts of stuff, so can I just add the new M&S cleaning products. They smell absolutely bloody gorgeous. Best ever and I'm a cleaner, so I've smelled them all!!

But realised that every time I used it someone would comment that my hair looked nice. So I thought bugger it. I can afford it and it makes me happy. I did feel quite Blush pressing the "buy" button!

That doesn't sound so bad! When you break it down to £20 for a 250ml product that you can actually see benefiting your hair, it sounds positively sensible! Smile

TBH I didn’t even look, I had a budget and just did the search based on what I knew I wanted (no kids, close to beach, all in, small, 4*+) and found the place! I worried it wouldn’t live up to my fantasies but it was wonderful. I arrived, they handed me a cool cava rosé and said “welcome to paradise”. I almost cried lol.

I treated myself quite a bit lately, these are my latest purchases

I love that bag. I have that in grey colourway (got a few Ralph Lauren bags) and it is amazing. I used it everyday for about 2 years, literally chucked it around, didn't look after it, it went on planes, trains and automobiles and honestly it still looks brand new. I recently bought a tan tote from RL and I am using that at the minute, but love it in that tan colourway.

I recently went to a big horse event (Badminton) and I had just got a new job with a fairly sizeable pay rise. I bought myself a big chunky silver ring and matching necklace. It was quite spendy and it was definitely a complete and utter splurge, I also got a new fairfax and favour handbag. I had been eyeing it up for about a year though.

I have the same condition. Can’t go into a bookshop without coming out with several purchases. If you’re going to have a disease though, it’s not a bad one to have. Love a good book!

@Sensibletrousers this sounds exactly what I’m looking for - I’ve just started a new ft job, first ft job in ages, and I wasn’t to treat myself to a precious few days away with my hard earned ££. Not really into bags or shoes, etc either.

my most recent treat was just buying dinner for myself from the Chinese while the kids were all out, enough for lunch the next day too!
