What was your last 'treat myself purchase?

Your last purchase that wasn't something you needed, but something you WANTED.

I feel guilty if I buy something I don't need, even if it's only a few quid. I think my last 'luxury' purchase was a £20 handbag!

Love the dress, not sure I could justify the cost though as it would feel too nice to wear!

I got it with 30% off, worth it at that price. I can't do full price Boden, the quality is too mixed.

A dog brush that cost £49.50…..wanted it for ages, they’re worth it.

Pinkballoon5 · 08/06/2023 21:08

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have my grandmother's lead crystal vase she bought my aunt and I await the one she bought my mum. I also use it all the time. Xx

@7eleven

Galartsy for the bracelet.

What a fantastic site!

FancyFanny · 08/06/2023 21:22

I treat myself all the time- I work and that's what it is for- my last purchase, which arrived yesterday was a Vivienne Westwood clutch bag.

This is a very lovely dress. Totally not my usual style but just so pretty.
Where is it from?

Thank you, I thought the same! I’m not usually one for small floral prints but really like this one for some reason and the cut is very flattering.

It’s one of the Liberty x J. Crew ones (I’m in the US now). They do ship internationally though as I’ve sent stuff back to the UK.

CindyJane · 08/06/2023 21:32

My Charlotte Tilbury face cream. Absolutely fabulous.

murasaki · 08/06/2023 21:47

@7eleven, I know. I want so much stuff. I am having to restrain myself.

Ilovepugs2017 · 08/06/2023 21:47

My favourite decaf cappuccino from a coffee shop I love a couple of miles away.

£3.50 well spent.

I treat myself lots. I work hard, earn well and love beautiful, well made things. I treat my husband and kids lots too, to travel, trips and lovely things.

I don’t get the guilt thing. If no one else is missing out, and you’ve earned something nice, why do you not deserve it?

Yesterday I treated myself to a Brora cashmere wrap. I’ve wanted one for ages and DH and I are off to Norfolk in a couple of weeks (and to Glyndebourne next week!), so it’ll be nice with a summer dress for evening drinks. https://www.johnlewis.com/brora-cashmere-gauzy-knit-poncho/lapis/p109959386

Return flight to Turkey - less than £200

FabFitFifties · 08/06/2023 22:23

On Monday, a lovely large patterned silver pendant with a black stone in the middle - just took my fancy. £69. I stopped myself from paying the extra £42 for the chain, as I have plenty.

Startyabastard · 09/06/2023 02:44

A Liberty print hooded top from Jack Wills when Jack Wills was good (thanks Vinted).

A pair of shorts and a skort. Last summer I had to buy size 18s. I've lost tonnes of weight since then so last week, I bought size 8s. I needed them but it was also a bit of a milestone marker.

Ohhh well done on the loss. What did you do? I'm terrible for yo yoing

Miabella89 · 09/06/2023 07:07

Sanctuary Spa salt scrub from Boots - I love it.

Fridaysgirl17 · 09/06/2023 08:00

I did a small Shein order with a lovely dress in it & just a few clothes not as I've lost a little weight (a dress size so far) & I'm feeling a bit more confident in myself (still lots of weight to go but it's a start) & I'd love to have a nice dress for this warm weather we are having here in Ireland, though I got it to wear for anytime

Skyblue22 · 09/06/2023 08:14

A big tube of Origins face wash. I got a little one in a beauty advent calendar for Christmas and loved it so decided to splurge rather than just buying Lidls own brand

Marc Jacobs 'Decadence' eau de parfum

It was discontinued and I hadn't realised it was back!

It's absolutely stunning and I'm so glad to have it again!

This was my perfume of choice for ages and then couldn't find it anywhere - had no idea it had been discontinued but v pleased to hear its back!! Guess we've worked out what my next spend is going to be...

GettingStuffed · 09/06/2023 08:39

A pair of simply be flatform sandals , brand new £4 in a charity shop.

AlmostThere2023 · 09/06/2023 09:09

Laser hair removal! A small fortune but totally worth it not to have to worry about shaving.

Wexone · 09/06/2023 10:18

@AlmostThere2023 is brilliant but of my word the pain, currently getting my bikini line done and need paracetamol every time i go in at mo.
