Definitely a bit nippy today, and rather windy!
I got dh to go up in the smaller loft and get down all my waistcoats, I'm so glad there back in fashion again, I wore mine religiously last time round although ehem, they fit less now! 😆

Yes, we have miserable weather where we are too @Sooverthemill and @Purplecatshopaholic . It will warm up soon....it has to!

That said, and I dressed for autumn this morning :

Today:
Dress: M&S
Cardigan: Kilky
Shoes: Timberland

Later, I then baked in the sun as I sat on the motorway in traffic this afternoon. Roll on Friday.

In the NW, it's been very mild/hot but cools right down at night. Went out early today for errands, did not wear a jacket and regretted it as it was breezy... but about midday it was warm again, thankfully.

Shirt: new H&M Boys - this was meant to be for DS, but it's stupidly big!
Jeans: thrifted Gap
Wore with some old NB 'dad trainers' and a cloth tote bag.

@Purplecatshopaholic That dress is really pretty, I like the long sleeves and the slightly flared skirt... it's just what I think of for an 'LBD'!

Oh yes, sorry @evtheria , I pop a shirt or top on under that high neck jumper otherwise I look quite boxy and neckless. The shirt itself is on the larger side, but I quite like it. Do give it a try sometime. Your white and blues today are really nice and summery!

Another day another Breton, this time from Seasalt. With old pinafore dress you've all seen before and dog walking kit.
Also I've thrown said dog in as a bonus.
And may I just say (again) what a lovely place this is. There's a bizarre and horrible spat going on elsewhere about floral dresses, where I've been targeted by a couple of posters because they didn't read my post properly, and then stalked across to here. I feel quite violated since this is the most un judgemental place and that thread is the opposite. Love you all, ladies, in all your different styles x

Aww, lovely dog @faffadoodledo. I was out earlier, been WFH since. Dress is Pretty Lavish. Leather sleeveless jacket was from Wolf and Badger I think. Mary Janes from Matches.

Aw @faffadoodledo , sorry to hear that. You have a lovely sophisticated style, and you carry your clothes very well. MN can be such a minefield sometimes.
Love your pinafore and your striped top (it's like edible rock colours). Very cute and happy dog, s/he will be very content this eve after a beach walk.

Sorry to hear that @faffadoodledo . No need for mean comments. Off to bring dd home from university yesterday. Much warmer on the west coast. Top white stuff, trousers brandy melville.

So I checked and I am definitely in danger of boring you people! Nothing in this outfit has been worn less than 32 times and most in the 40s and the shoes in the 80s. That no of days I’ve worn things. Seriously going to cull the stuff that just doesn’t get reached for!

Well the sun is finally making a reappearance here, currently basking in the back garden wearing Next Mom shorts in washed black and a T shirt from H&M but will be getting changed later to go out. I have a new green floral blouse from French Connection that I want to give an outing.

I would never have picked it up had it not been for this thread, and all your lovely outfits!
I tend to wear boring, need to cover up with protective clothing for work, dog walking and gardening for weekends, so really don’t have much need for ‘nice’ stuff. But I have been inspired by you all, the dress has had many compliments, so thank you all!! Xx
