hamster update: treated and home again and has pain meds and antibiotics and DD is now £165 poorer! He had tooth issues

And hamsters are martyrs to their teeth as I recall, @Sooverthemill . We had them when the children were young. And they infuriated me because it was me who had to do all the cage cleaning!

its bloody freezing again and I’m am so pissed off. I’d like a bit of sunshine please

going for coffee with a neighbour ( that’s how exciting my social life is) before DH goes away again for another 5 nights

the jacket is an eBay bargain an agolde jacket still available at £300 plus which I got for £5. Trying to decide if it suits me ( it's massively oversizes and this is the smallest size) if not i will sell on. have to try with a load of different outfits

@faffadoodledo yeah they have a reputation for tooth issues but we have had 6 and this is the first one with a problem. It was probably caused by being kept in poor housing when he was tiny. We rescued him last year and he lives in splendour now.

@Sooverthemill - it was so cold in my office yesterday that I ended up wearing a hoodie, a fleece scarf, and a coat. And my hands/feet were still cold.

Glad to hear hamster is on the mend @Sooverthemill. Hope you are keeping well @Puddinandpie. I am in my office again today - some challenging meetings later. Hope the sunshine puts people in an amenable mood, lol. Shoes are Michael Kors and the linen dress is from a European label I got from Wolf and Badger. Cat is Models Own, lol

I’m wearing 4 layers. In the office. It’s currently 13C outside (or 11C if you take windchill into account). It feels like October.

My outfit’s a repeat I’m afraid but with the addition of my new favourite thing - a handheld clothes steamer! Doing these pics has shown me how often my clothes are creased and what a difference it can make (but who has the time/energy/space to iron everything every day???)

So today I had an important meeting that I thought was going to be horrendous but turned out pretty brilliant, so I was all chuffed with myself, then I came home had some new dresses delivered and tried them on, was really happy then caught myself of guard and ended up tripping over my own shoes falling straight on an enormous stacked pile of shoe boxes on all the corners, then landing with an enormous thud right on my arse, so have spent the afternoon worrying about every single pain in my tummy and now have a huge lump and bruise on my thigh/arse!!! Honestly it's only me who would trip over my own bloody shoes while pregnant, I'm pretty sure I have fallen over in everyone of my pregnancies, my balance is pretty crap anyway and it seems to just set it off worse🙈

I can confirm it’s sadly not that warm in Scotland @HorribleHisTories15, lol. We had a hint a few days ago and it’s been chilly ever since! Everyone is complaining being caught out in summer clothes and being too cold! LBD from Ghost sale with LK Bennett Mary Janes. Love this dress, so easy to wear. Just realised my mirror is shocking - please ignore smears, lol
