Ah yes I got the wrong brother and actually I prefer Joseph. He was briefly at the boys grammar school where I grew up ( he’s younger than me obviously) where We still have boys and girls schools ( and grammar!).

We seem to have rain again. I’m hoping it won’t last all day.

It's overcast here today but still warm and muggy!
Off for a meander with dh and dc's for pink baby grows and more vintage fabric to make little girly dresses, dd is ecstatic, she has already begun crocheting booties and a jumper bless 'er!

Is it cotton? Loved the pale blue sweater you posted the other day too.

@ShinyAppleDreamingOfTheSea no it’s merino but 4 ply so it’s very breathable. The pale blue jumper from last week is made from a bamboo and cotton mix yarn ( which as I recall was really cheap)

@Sooverthemill I really like the top you made (with shoulder ties), what an elegant way to use knit for summer.

@OublietteBravo I think jumpsuits/boiler suits are so cool, I tried on a silky khaki one today and didn't buy it but your post has given me Serious Regrets...

This weekend has been warm!
Sat - awful un-ironed T-shirt (Primark) and linen shorts (Mango) to take child to swim class + do a top up shop.
Sun - linen shirt (H&M), crop top (Zara), super soft and light cotton joggers (stall in Vietnam) to wander about town while family was in the cinema.

Thanks for the support yesterday. I beat my pb! My friend who is twice my age got a way better time but she's incredible and in ridiculous shape.

Today's look is all clothes I've had so long they probably count as retro now and a necklace I made last week.

Loved Suffolk @Sooverthemill ❤️ always feel so at home there. Visited our usual haunts including Caister on sea, Saxmundam, Kessingland and California. We went past Yoxford, as a pp mentioned upthread; I'll have to investigate that village next time! I was exceptionally lazy about taking pictures.

Some lovely summery outfits over the last few days 😍
I've been wearing much the same as usual over last couple of weeks but first pic is what I wore out this weekend and second pic is a new dress I've ordered for an 'event' later in the month which I'm really pleased with but not sure what shoes to wear with it... maybe the wedges but maybe a block heel sandal would be better; possibly in a colour matched in the dress.. would appreciate thoughts 💭

@EllaPaella ooh love the outfits, the dress is lovely defo think block heel barely there sandals in pink or nude maybe, with same colour clutch bag, depending on how fancy the event is!😁

I totally forgot to take pic of my outfit today as been so bloody busy, but I bought a couple of maxi dresses that I have fallen in love with but unfortunately they are made for 6ft models, so am in the midst of taking them up to cater for my short stumpy legs🤣
