Dh wanted an at home day so just chilling in a comfortable dress. It's so humid here I want the thunder storms to hurry up!

thank you @faffadoodledo , we were definitely green behind the ears. We thought that today would be a good day, and that people would be willing to haggle and we wanted to give away bundles. But sadly there was a small crowd and very few were willing to barter. Little interest in my clothes or shoes (which were £2-4). The DSs thought that their Ninjago/ Pokémon/ Yu-gi Oh cards would be a big draw, they were disappointed. There was a large interest in our 'free' box at the end though. Then came the rain.

Oh well, you live and you learn! We still have a double Buggy , a 4x4 pushchair from Sweden, 2 car seats and lots of miscellaneous items for next time. DH might just put them out on the front step.

Had a lovely fathers day yesterday, dh was over the moon with his pressies and beef roast dinner, although I boiled my head off all day cooking, but the kids were happy with all the desserts and sharing dh's sweets so win, win!😁
It's breezier today and the temp has dropped a degree or so, all we got yesterday was drizzle, I was so looking forward to a spectacular thunderstorm and lots of windy cool weather!

I know what you mean with the faff @Greyhairwarmheart , and we also have had some real bargains and successes like you @Puddinandpie albeit as buyers, that we thought that we could give a try too! Oh well, we have learned a lot. We still have one more session to reclaim this summer, and the other sellers (and most buyers) were really nice.

I’ve been very disorganised with sorting out my summer wardrobe this year - I literally had one pair of shorts that didn’t look dated and those were cut offs made from a pair of my sons old Topman skinny jeans.
I finally went shopping last week and found these Mom shorts from H&M. I got them in the blue denim too. At work so wearing with an old shirt of DP and Vans hi tops.

@HorribleHisTories15 woops always forget to put the name, force of habit, it's nshelley in billiericay their actually a friend of my nans but I've been going there since I was little with my nan (when i was speaking to that side of the family anyway), fab shop i could spend hours in there, lots of variety and I always end up leaving with something😁

@FjordFancier cut offs alway make the best shorts for some reason, they just end up looking cool! 😎

@Puddinandpie I adore that dress, the fabric is to die for and the colour suits you so well.

I struck gold at the local Salvation Army boutique with this £7 Joe Brown dress. It needs taking in and the shoulders thinning out, but I'll get to it when I get to it.

I won’t actually wear it like this, just to show the design on the knitted tank. I knitted it a few years ago. Shirt is Sézane, shorts Abercrombie and sandals just seen are navy Birkenstocks

it’s a bit chilly at the moment but forecast is good. Currently waiting for old dog’s physiotherapist to arrive!
