I’m feeling really tired and bloated today so keeping the pressure off with this dress (Mint Velvet). Sandals are Dune.

What a scorcher it's been! Lovely. Definitely shorts weather. These are new from the Hush sale - £18. Very happy with them and they are light and comfy. Top is from New Look.

I’m in head-to-toe M&S today. I love these trousers, but I think I need to wear them with different footwear.

Today it's a big hike day so in Everlane shorts and an old Whistles t-shirt
Trainers are Sketchers which I hate. But I left my own at home and had to make do with what a hypermarket had on offer!

I’m unexpectedly stuck in all day since DS threw up his breakfast… keeping it simple in old New Look culottes and top from Warehouse (via Vinted)

I put on a lovely dress - went out in the car and realised it was windier than I thought and I could possibly flash so have got changed!

now wearing spaghetti strap m and s navy midi dress with fat face Birkenstock style sandals - which I have to say are being a total bugger to get comfortable!

@Netcam they are really set up for camping. But try to go before the school or French holidays. I feel our timing is bang on (but we are old, with grown children so have that luxury!).

We live in cornwall so are super picky about beaches. The ones here in Brittany compare well, and there are some lovely slightly inland villages and towns to visit - Pont Aven and Locronon are the two I'd especially recommend.

@faffadoodledo, thanks for the advice, with one about to go to uni and one soon starting 6th form we're not far off. We were wondering whether to stick to the UK again next year and wait until DS2 has finished A levels.
