At what age (honestly) did you look your best?

Society tells us that youth is beautiful, but I look at photos of myself at 18 and think I looked a total state! No idea about how to dress, skincare, and I still had the puppy fat.

Maybe I'm deluded, but I think I started to look my best from my very late 20s (in early 30s now), but maybe that's due to lots of things - being healthier, exercising more, better fashion, taking care of my skin etc.

31-36. I just looked lovely. DS was a toddler-school age. My hair was fab, I was slim, found my style, glowing, happy. I look great I my brothers wedding pics.

I'm 43 now and I dont know how it's all gone so wrong!🙈

20s - thin, clear skin, emerging sensuality, terrible dress sense
30s - fell to bits, podgy, weird style, spotty
40s - slim again for a bit, well dressed (more affluent), improved all round health
50s - all over the place

40s was probably the best but I’m hoping to reel it in

26 and 35

Definitely around 25, I looked so young, fab figure, decent amount of confidence.

I can remember looking in the mirror and thinking I look beautiful 😁

Now a days I look tired, clothes don't fit nicely, I am middle aged.

Early 30s. I didn’t think so at the time, but I look back at photos and I looked lovely.

Now I’m knocking 50 I’m happy, too. Don’t drink any more, skin’s good, and I’m fitter than ever.

I was still young (and slim) but had learnt by this stage what clothes and make up suited me best!

It depends whether you equate looking best with looking young. I’m more confident in my appearance and style now, in my early fifties, than I have ever been. I was lovely looking around 20, but less confident in myself than I am now. So, relative to my age, I’d say now!

Around 45. I'm 56 now, and I think I scrub up well.

33… I’m 39 now and I look like shit.

Still maybe there’s hope yet, based on other answers.

I was GORGEOUS age 17-19, now after 30 and hoping for a revival with a vengeance 😂

Please someone tell us post 30 you’re gorgeous again for another 25 ish years then just super chic after 🙏 😂

Easily 34 and I’m 38 now

I was a stone slimmer than now, could finally afford good clothes & a 10/10 hairdresser

The years in between dc1 and dc2 really.

I was healthy but yet to turn haggard.

Somewhere between 30 and 40, where I'd found my look but hadn't started getting wrinkles.

Mid 20s.

31-36 was my prime time

29/30. Super attractive, but didn't know it.

23, and then 27. I was fit but I didn't know it.

I also had a decent phase a few months after I had my DD when I was 32. I didn't feel it, but looking at photos of myself when she was aged 4 months to around 12 months I looked amazing, facially anyway. Fast forward 12 months and I am now HAGGARD.

Can’t you be gorgeous at 55?

Late 30s - super fit and healthy.

Then I got pregnant 😳😩😄🤷‍♀️

42, peak fitness and loved my body and face.

Healthy, happy and the bloody covid robbed me of my health.

Now I look so so tired, and sad around the chops, but just starting to get back to myself and happy to be here.

I do love the look of older women.
