WHITE TRAINERS - comfy ones that have arch support?

I'm looking for fashion trainers, ideally white but a bit of grey or navy would be ok.

I sometimes walk miles and need trainers that are comfy and have some arch support, rather than a totally flat plimsol type like Superga and Converse. But are still fashionable. I will wear them with summer dresses, jeans and smarter trousers.

I currently have some from J Lewis (own brand and Any Day) that are fine for short walks but my legs ache after a while as the soles are so flat.

I am slightly against New Balance as hate logos and the big N so anything else?
I have narrow, shallow feet.

Can't help with trainers, but my Converse are really comfy with arch-supporting insoles. I have narrow feet, so this works for me, and thought it may help someone else. I can't remember which ones I got, but there is plenty of choice on Amazon.

I'd like to know the answer to this too! I have some Hokas which are incredible but they're chunky and don't look right with dresses.

I've heard great things about Fitflop Rally, never had them myself but my other Fitflops are great.

WhereAreWeNow · 11/05/2023 19:27

I love my Fitflop Rally. They're pricy but worth getting when they go into the sale.

Pixie2015 · 11/05/2023 19:33

Just bought some sketchers uno and love them

sadafteemove · 11/05/2023 19:35

Just got some Skechers Bobs and comfiest white trainer I’ve ever had!

I'm a convert to adidas trainers. I have these ones and they're very comfy:

Another vote for fitflops. Nearly all my shoes are fitflop now, they are just so comfortable.

MissingMoominMamma · 11/05/2023 19:38

I wear Allbirds tree dashers. Brilliantly comfortable, and I need arch support.

PastTheGin · 11/05/2023 19:45

Skechers are no good for narrow feet. I have Skechers walking boots but even with a thick insole they are still too roomy.
I have just bought insoles with arch support for my Converse as my feet are just swimming in them, the jury is still out on those.
In the past the best fitting trainers have definitely been Adidas.

Fitflop Rally white leather ones are my go to summer white trainer. Ecco do an almost identical one. I tend to buy whichever is cheaper. Skechers too.
I have long and very narrow feet.

MeetMyCat · 11/05/2023 23:24

Another vote for Skechers bobs

RampantIvy · 11/05/2023 23:28

I am a recent Adidas convert. Mine aren't white, but I needed new trainers as my four year old Nike ones are too scruffy to be seen in public. I did have to try on many pairs of trainers before I found these.

Beseen22 · 11/05/2023 23:32

I'm on my third pair of Nike court legacy shoes. They are very comfy and you can buy the teenage ones for much cheaper.

I understand the reluctance to NB but I wear them for 12h shifts on my feet and have never had sore legs or feet with them.

BuffyTheCat · 12/05/2023 00:41

Another vote for Adidas here. Mine are really comfortable. I have narrow feet and also need arch support.

CallieQ · 12/05/2023 01:04

Asics are excellent

I've got them and I love them but then I love Fitflops. I've got boots, sandals, trainers, everything

TakeMe2Insanity · 12/05/2023 05:48

Birkenstock bend if you need proper arch support.

Nat6999 · 12/05/2023 05:50

I have Adidas Superstar & just swapped the insoles for school arch support ones.

Oligodoodle · 12/05/2023 06:17

I was at the hospital with my parent recently and noticed all the staff (on their feet for long shifts) were in Asics or Sketchers.

KrasiTime · 12/05/2023 06:26

I wear vionic. I live in their sandals in the summer.

Alwaystheplusone · 12/05/2023 06:56

Adidas

FannythePinkFlamingo · 12/05/2023 07:03

I have plantar fasciitis and Fit Flop Rally work for me. Keep an eye on Amazon prices. I got my for £60 odd in the end.
