Beatrice has been to a baby shower from the look of it.

I'd love to be able to wear shoes like that but my feet always hurt. What's the secret of how they manage it?

Made to measure probably

KillingMeDeftly · 13/05/2023 08:26

I think the key is that royal women don't wear the shoes for more than a few hours and they don't have to run to catch the tube home or wait at a bus stop with aching feet!

Maireas · 12/05/2023 16:34

Be still my throbbing corns 😂
Great colour though

Love it. 😂
It's the soles of my feet I'd be thinking of.
Oh the burning pain 🔥😱

ArcaneWireless · 13/05/2023 10:59

I loved a heel. Always been a bit short so the higher the better.

I joined up. Spent years in flats or boots and now vertiginous heels make my feet sing. The fat little pads under my toes don’t sing.

They scream.

The comfiness of my feet is paramount. If my feet are sore, most will know about it.

Kudos to women - not just royal ones - who manage to waltz about in them.

If I could squeeze my flabby trotters into pretty footwear, I’d be like Jen {IT CROWD} with her red shoes.

Maireas · 13/05/2023 12:14

I've never been able to manage it. Me walking in them would put you in mind of Dick Emery.

Kudos to you, @KillingMeDeftly , in your high heeled elegance!

The Edinburgh women have been to the Windsor horse show. Louise's look is a bit county for me and Sophie's dress would be lovely on its own with heels but not so much in the middle of a field and covered by a quilted jacket!

Oh, Louise looks elegant. Is she carriage driving?

I’m not a fan of this royal mini-trend of beige and white together, it jars and looks messy to me. Plus I don’t think Beatrice’s trousers are very flattering.

Yes it's a strange look and makes it seem like CPV spilled something on her real suit trousers and had to change at the last minute!

Eaumyword · 13/05/2023 16:22

Louise looks very county and appropriate for carriage driving.
I like Sophie's dress, but it's so odd with the boots and coat 😂
Also not a fan of the white/beige movement. One or the other, ladies (although head to toe beige can look a little like one works as a safari park ranger.)

KillingMeDeftly · 13/05/2023 17:21

Aha, here's the beige and white OG so we know who to blame for the trend!

Suspect that it's cold in Edinburgh and Sophie's jacket was a last minute throw on

Maireas · 13/05/2023 17:43

Charles' keks looking a touch high waisted there.

OP posts:
Spudlet · 13/05/2023 17:47

I think Sophie’s outfit is a case of sabotage by the crap weather. (I mean I kind of hope it is because it’s not quite there as a look if not).

Also not a huge fan of the white/beige thing…

As far as I know the Windsor horse show is held in Berkshire, not Edinburgh!

Indeed, and he's always liked beige. Remember the days when he'd don a safari suit the moment he was south of the equator?

Maireas · 13/05/2023 18:13

Oh dear lord. Wasn't it went he went past Calais? Dreadful. I hope a member of staff has accidentally lost/burnt them 🔥

Fergie's looking fab! Nice colour on her, hair is as glorious as ever and though I'd tone down the eyeliner personally, the makeup is good.

She looks marvellous there. That colour is divine deftly

Eaumyword · 13/05/2023 18:53

Fergie looks good and that colour is super on her. Her eyes look very Joan/Jackie Collins!

Gothambutnotahamster · 13/05/2023 18:54

Is that filtered @KillingMeDeftly? She looks amazing!

Love the colour on her.
And, if I may say so, reasonably well structured undergarments. Some of the other Royal ladies may want to take bra-related pointers. Looking at you, Sophie of Edinburgh 🤔
