Has anyone tried this yet? Thoughts?
I usually stay away from new beauty hypes but this one's got me interested.
Seems to be a lot of 'scientific research' blah blah but is it all just marketing?
As I'm basically looking for a face lift in a bottle I kinda already know I'm going to be disappointed. So tempted to try it but it's not cheap so would like anyone's opinion.
Any visible results yet? 🤞

OP i bought mine with a £10 off voucher that spewed out of the till on another purchase. I'd totally forgotten about it until I saw the voucher. So it was £24.

Have you checked your advantage card app to see if there are any vouchers?

Moredarkchocolateplease · 13/05/2023 09:31

Or ask in store, the assistant said they come out of all the self service tills and people dont see them so they end up on the floor.

If you want this to work you’ve got to give it a helping hand so make sure you’re doing the below:

Drink plenty of water (2.5-3 litres daily minimum)
Use a good glycolic toner/ lactic acid in the evening)
Double cleanse after removing makeup
Hydration is essential
Take a good multivitamin for hair skin nails
SPF
No smoking, cut the alcohol right down
Good quality Sleep

I'm still dithering. Boots are saying you need to use it for six months before you see any results. It's so expensive, even with their 3 for 2. Don't suppose anyone has an active boots discount code? I can't find one

I went in to Boots yesterday, saw the price of the serum ( the one recommended to buy ) and baulked.
It was €55
Yes there was 3 for 2 but it would mean spending €110.
I couldn't justify at the moment. Smile

HappiDaze · 13/05/2023 10:16

I have to say my skin looks noticeably better (tighter, smoother, glowing) in the morning after I've used it especially compared to the mornings where I've used a retinol the night before

DustyLee123 · 13/05/2023 10:36

I got the smaller serum that was about £30 and I found a £5 off voucher

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/05/2023 12:38

There will be plenty of offers soon, I imagine.

DustyLee123 · 13/05/2023 14:24

I already use a serum and face oil, so I hope I see some improvement !

MiniCooperLover · 13/05/2023 17:22

I found it made my skin spotty, I think it was too rich for me as my skin isn't dry. I've stuck with the pink range (this one) and my skin likes it (have just turned 50 and get a lot of skin compliments) 👍

Has anyone used this on Melasma?

Grapefruittea · 13/05/2023 17:39

I got this yesterday and only used it once but what I do notice is my face normally reacts to everything, but it hasn't to this. It feels lovely and soft

K8m · 17/05/2023 21:12

Does anyone know if you can use the no.7 retinol 1% night with the future renewal night cream? Thanks 😊

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 18/05/2023 11:46

@K8m that's a good question. In the absence of knowing better, I think they are different ingredient lists, so should be ok I think?

betsyannegrey · 18/05/2023 12:05

Nadine Baggott has an instagram post about future renew, in the comments she answers a question about combining with retinol. She says to use the FR serum underneath your retinol, and if you use vitamin C serum in the morning to use the FR serum over the vitamin c.

I've been doing that for about a month now (I think! I got it the weekend it came out) skin feels great, looks good, I'll definitely rebuy the FR serum. I haven't tried the other products, the research was based on use of the serum.

25% off on the Advantage card app at the moment.

Ive developed red spots on my forehead since using this. Anyone else ?

HideTheCroissants · 23/05/2023 15:17

sparklyruby · 22/04/2023 08:18

How much of the serum is everyone using? I'm using 3 full pumps which is too much but 2 isn't quite enough (I spread it down my neck too). Will do 2.5 in future but just curious what's enough for others...

The assistant in Boots said one pump for face and one pump for neck and décolleté. I actually use the restore and renew on my neck and décolleté for now (until I run out).

HappiDaze · 23/05/2023 15:45

I have the larger size so no pump so I just squeeze out enough to cover my face

One pump is about the size of a pea. That easily does my face.

HappiDaze · 23/05/2023 18:48

Yes I'd say the size of a pea is about right

Oh no! No reaction for me. I hope they clear quickly.

The secret to making the most of the quantity you apply, is apply a tiny dot, spread as far as it goes with the lightest of touch, then gently massage in. Move to next area and repeat. The texture on this serum makes it easy to spread across a large area as a first step before massaging in.
I use tiny pumps for each of the areas (each side of face including eyes and above lips, forehead, each side of neck, bellow neck). I reckon it adds up to 1 full pump.

worktired · 23/05/2023 18:57

I use three pumps (each side of face and then forehead). Less doesn't feel like enough.

sarahh96 · 23/05/2023 20:05

Are we actually seeing any visible improvements though?

OP posts:
Branster · 23/05/2023 20:32

I have!!!! not sure if others noticed. Expression area above eyebrows gone. It's not wrinkles but a grooved area semi circular above each eyebrows, not sure how to explain. I do have a very expressive face so that's the downside. Really annoying and would always notice in the rear view mirror and obviously in normal mirror. I'm guessing it's not permanent so if I stop using it they come back?
Also skin looks more glowing after a couple of hours after application. I only use in the mornings.
Nothing else that I can notice.
I've been using tretinoin for a long time and fine lines or wrinkles not an issue I need to address (yet).
I used to have these 11s lines which were sorted with no7 laboratories serum so I am convinced on the power of peptides already.

sarahh96 · 23/04/2023 10:10

@LadyEloise1 yes I did. Used it religiously for about 6 years or so. Then they decided to change it and discontinued the original one.
I did notice a difference, not massively, but it was definitely there. Skin was smoother, lines more plumped etc. it was also brilliant under makeup as it seemed to leave a silicone type feel so makeup glided on.
I continued to get it on eBay but the price went up prohibitively so had to stop.
Really wish they'd bring it back, non of the replacements seem to do the same thing and I need it!

Boots still sell Protect & Perfect serum but in an Advanced Intense version. Even better than the original in my opinion.
