Has anyone tried this yet? Thoughts?
I usually stay away from new beauty hypes but this one's got me interested.
Seems to be a lot of 'scientific research' blah blah but is it all just marketing?
As I'm basically looking for a face lift in a bottle I kinda already know I'm going to be disappointed. So tempted to try it but it's not cheap so would like anyone's opinion.
Any visible results yet? 🤞

Thank you for replying @sarahh96 and @Ilikewinter.

Why do companies change formulations when customers are happy with the original because they see good results.

I bought into the Protect and Perfect hype but saw no visible difference.

HappiDaze · 25/04/2023 11:42

I'm liking this serum. You know when you pull your skin back a bit to see how a face lift might look, well my face looked like that this morning.

It looks tighter and smoother which I was very surprised at considering I've only been using it a few days.

sarahh96 · 25/04/2023 19:22

@HappiDaze wow, really? That's convinced me. I'm getting some!

Rollerbird · 25/04/2023 19:50

I like it too. My skin looks loads smoother
It says I think that effects last 72 hours? So if we are using it twice a day its bound to look better (presumably if we stop it goes back to ground zero)

DarkDarkNight · 25/04/2023 20:06

I’ve been using it for just over a week now and am on the fence. It’s too soon to say if it will make a long-term difference. Short-term it goes on nicely, but doesn’t have that immediate ’wow factor’ of making my skin look amazing (comparing it to Medik8 Copper PCA peptides I’ve been using before this which makes my skin look really refined and polished).

I’m just using it once a day at the minute as I’m using Duac acne cream at the minute but would normally use a retinol at night and this in the morning.

OddBoots · 26/04/2023 08:41

I think I might see a difference around my eyes but not yet on my forehead.

WithIcePlease · 03/05/2023 20:49

How is everyone getting along with future renew?
I bought this despite having recently pared down skin care basically to vit c and Medic8
I think the skin under my eyes is firmer with future renew
I'm not keen on putting it on before medic8 and dsis puts hers on after. In a quandary with the order

Stillwearingskinnys · 08/05/2023 09:34

What are we all thinking so far, any good?

I have been using for a couple of weeks. Makes my skin very soft and hydrated. Much better than Clarins.

I use the full range morning and night.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/05/2023 10:08

I really like the eye cream and will definitely repurchase.

Branster · 09/05/2023 19:23

Somebody mentioned a review in The Times on a different thread.

I found the link

www.thetimes.co.uk/article/no7-serum-review-beauty-news-2023-anti-ageing-cvznf8ppj

Is anyone on here able to share the content of this article please because I haven't got a subscription and I couldn't open the 1 month free trial ( I must have used this option in the past and wouldn't let me start a new one).

All other reviews online appear to be from press releases as they are very similar.

I did start using the serum 3 days ago - too early to say if it does anything but it is easy to apply and I think it probably does give a glowing look straight after application. Or I'm imagining it?
I love the No7 Laboratories serum so have high hope for this new product line.

Branster · 12/05/2023 06:57

Thank you very, very much @BeverlyBrook

Xmasbaby11 · 12/05/2023 07:20

I have been using the No 7 Protect range for about 5 years and love it. My skin is smooth and I have no wrinkles. I’m 47 so maybe it’s keeping the wrinkles at bay! I have tried switching to cheaper skincare and it didn’t feel as nice - skin felt less smooth .

interested in Future Renew!

LadyEloise1 · 12/05/2023 08:06

The Times reviewer writes that she is already using a prescription Vitamin A cream. Retinol reduces wrinkles and is an anti aging cream, on prescription only in the UK and Ireland.
If you are using a retinol cream already why would you use the Boots serum also ?
Do you get a double whammy effect ?

Branster · 12/05/2023 09:23

Good point @LadyEloise1
From my non-expert personal knowledge and experience these are different products for different results.
Tretinoin to prevent lines and smooth out existing fine lines.
This particular Peptides serum, to recover deeper lines (not fully, I shouldn't think it would iron out skin completely where deep wrinkles exist, but it would reduce the depth, no idea by how much). It also appears to have some 'refreshing' results so skin would look rested and it should improve dry patches or irritated skin areas. It's probably supposed to do other things as well.

DustyLee123 · 12/05/2023 09:34

I’m going to give the serum a go. It’s interesting that she says not to bother with the moisturisers.

Stillwearingskinnys · 12/05/2023 10:19

I have been using whole range for nearly 3 weeks now.

last night I only used serum as was in a rush and forgot eye cream and night cream for first time.

when I got up this morning I looked in the mirror and thought to myself how shattered I look. Then I realised.

my skin wasn’t as soft as normal either. I would definitely use the full range

HappiDaze · 12/05/2023 10:26

My face is appreciating this new serum so I'm happy when I look in the mirror the next morning.

sarahh96 · 12/05/2023 19:21

So has anyone seen any visible reduction in lines and wrinkles? Im still on the fence as to whether to buy it or not. On a really tight budget so would be a big extravagance for me.
Shall I?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 12/05/2023 19:43

I’m currently using L’Oreal Regenerist retinol max night cream and like it a lot now my skin has got used to it. Could I use the Boots serum alongside it? Would it be moisturiser followed by serum if so? Or serum then moisturiser?

Moredarkchocolateplease · 12/05/2023 19:49

I've been using the serum for three weeks. The only other skincare I use is cerave big tub moisturiser at night and cerave with factor 50 during the day.

My face is so much softer, definite reduction in lines on my forehead. My neck and chin is really soft too.

I really like the serum. I will buy another bottle when it runs out.

Philomenacunk1 · 12/05/2023 19:54

I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I love it. I haven’t found it to pill on my skin at all - one of the benefits is how nice it feels when it goes on.
I was a pretty hardcore sun worshiper in my teens and twenties and there’s quite a lot of damage to reverse so I’m not overly optimistic. Even if it doesn’t reverse damage though it’s still a nice serum so nothing lost!

sarahh96 · 12/05/2023 19:57

@Moredarkchocolateplease thank you. That's decided it, I'm getting some tomorrow. I'm only using Cerave as well so quite excited now to try it.

OP posts:
MrMarkham · 12/05/2023 21:01

This has really helped my dry/ redness round my nose and mouth. I find there is pilling if I use the serum and then the day cream which is annoying, and also the day cream is sticky. Night cream I like. But I think the serum is really making a difference.

sarahh96 · 13/05/2023 09:28

I'm still dithering. Boots are saying you need to use it for six months before you see any results. It's so expensive, even with their 3 for 2. Don't suppose anyone has an active boots discount code? I can't find one
