Botox before and after

So I'm 38 and starting to consider botox but it would be a big expense for me so I'm wondering if anyone would share a before and after photo? Just foreheads! Also does it change the shape of your face? Eyebrow placement? Does it feel numb? Thankyou 🖤

I've only had it twice. On my number '11'

I was really happy with the results. Due to have it again next week, so that will be 3 times in 12 months.

I particularly liked how fresh my eyes looked, my skin was dewey like too.

It didn't feel numb and I might have had a tiny headache afterwards.

Prepare to look in the mirror - LOTS. I saw results in about two weeks after injection.

I haven’t had Botox for a while so can’t get a before and after photo (I didn’t do one) but can explain the effects if that helps any. I’ve had it twice. On the forehead it just softened my lines (they didn’t completely go). I didn’t really look frozen at all. It didn’t change the shape of my face in that area. Truth is it was very subtle for the price but I still liked it. The doctor who did mine tended to start very small and work up, definitely not the extreme look of some celebs. This suited me. I found that when I had it around the eyes that was more noticeable and more fake looking. I haven’t had it for a few years because of the expense and the time it lasts (about 4 months). I just couldn’t really justify £200+ every four months. But I did think my forehead was good if you have the money.

I've had Botox for years...so long I've lost the before and after pictures
It doesn't change the shape of my face/eyebrow placement.
It doesn't alter sensation in the areas I have it (forehead, crows feet and 11lines) no numbness or anything like that. It can sometimes feel odd when it's starting to work and the muscles stop moving but that only lasts a day or so.

For me it just makes me too fresher/well rested, I do ask for the the "frozen" look so I have slightly more injected. My makeup sits better and I look less angry/concerned. my biggest issue was bunny lines at my nose and lines from raising my eye brows now I have neither and there's no trace of any previous lines.

My only advice is to make sure you go to someone with a medical background and who cones highly rated.

@schoolsoutforever I initially started out with less units but fairly quickly realised I liked no movement especially on my forehead and 11 so asked to be "frozen". Crows feet don't bother me as much so I tend to only do them occasionally as it lasts a bit longer for me there.
It doesn't change skin texture/look waxy/fake in any way I just look fresher younger

@trickyfriendsone That looks amazing! I wonder if mine would ever go like that as I have an expressive face like Jim Carrey 🤣 I had forehead lines in my late teens!

Great advice. I'm researching getting Botox and only considering medical professionals. In my opinion, you shouldn't be able to administer Botox/fillers after a 2 day course.
This thread has convinced me to take the plunge OP so thank you!

@QueefQueen80s I've just trawled my pictures and my original practitioners photos but can't find my first and most effective befire and after pictures. I had noticeable lines even when my face was completely relaxed they looked pretty bad and I wasn't convinced Botox alone would work and I'd need fillers too. In the end Botox was enough and I just maintain it now.

Being a nurse/dentist/doctor means fuck all really.
I'm a nurse but would have a clue about injecting Botox into someone's face

I've had it for about 10 years, I love it, makes me feel and look younger and fresher

I go to my registered Dr for it and now only have 2 areas the 11's and crows feet for £325.
I have an appointment next week and I am also looking to have a bit of filler in the tear trough area.
He always takes resting,smiling and frowning photos and the injection sites are marked on his computer so all be reviewed as time passes. I also always get a 2 week check up booked in but sometimes I don't need to go as I can see the difference it has made and doesn't need any tweaking.
If you have active acne it's best to try and get it under control as I believe it could cause issues with infection at the injection site.
For your acne, do you have anything from your Dr? I love my botox. It reduces my migraines significantly and makes my skin all dewy.

Mine lasts about 6 months but did wear off quicker when I was running (sweating) a lot. I don't know if it was just a coincidence

Thankyou for this, I've had it years and it's hormone related. I had a giant fibroid and was hoping having that and my womb out would sort my skin but no! I will check out this site thanks!

@memesndmoreme the Botox relaxes the muscles so you could relax the muscles over the higher brow?
Mine are naturally uneven and I ask for them to be levelled up sometimes when I have Botox.
I notice it more in the summer when wearing sunglasses as one is always higher!

I had it done for the first time last week. I'm early forties. I had it in forehead, 11's and around the eyes. It cost £300 from a proper dr's who came recommended. I'm really pleased with the results and it's only been one week so far. I hope it lasts! Photos attached... first set is me the night before Botox and then yesterday morning.
