Toasties:- Spring frocks and socks?

Here we are again, and this time looking forward to the warmer weather , putting away our comfy woolies ( and new season's dresses).

Everyone welcome ..

Love the Stream gown -it's gorgeous.

Can't justify another as have 3 gowns that I love - Toast Kantha, PJ Pan (recommend them- have a look) and a hotel one my parents bought/swiped 40 years old (and still like new- amazing quality).

@neveradullmoment99 my sister has finally got one item refunded, (out of three sale purchases she sent back almost a fortnight ago).

By contrast, I sent my returns back a couple of days before her and was refunded promptly. It seems a bit hit and miss over at Toast central re: returns processing!

Not having delays with refunds at the moment - processed quickly.

Returned 2 packages via Royal Mail (using QR Code for label printing at Post Office).

• Dropped them off at PO on Sunday 2nd
• Refund notification emails from Toast on 5th and 6th (RM delivered day apart- processed same day)
• Yesterday appeared on credit card account as refunds (transactions were dated 5th and 6th so bank delay due to Easter)

That was my experience too, @Stoic123. I was pleased, as I was trying to avoid having to pay cc bill for returned items! Hope everyone else here gets returns done speedily.

This is cute. Same print as PJ set but I would probably wear it out. Bit cheaper than the lovely Ikat piece.

I'm off into Islington for lunch so I'll be popping into the Toast branch and will report back later. I'm interested to see if they have the fenugreek ballloon trousers in a small in which case I will snap them up.

I'm head to toe in Toast today (not intentional but, well, half of my wardrobe is Toast! I'm wearing a slubby cotton mud blue gathered neck blouse from winter 202/, the garment dyed linen balloon trousers in indigo (first time wearing), a yellow cotton Mac from a few seasons ago and the Kate Sheridan waxed tote in orange. I'm also wearing Novesta plimsolls - not bough from Toast but similar to those they sell.

..mid not mud....

@ToastCosILoveIt I’ll be envious if you find those elusive Fenugreek trousers, I ordered in a medium today as they came back in stock just to see what they’re like. Hoping I’ll decide they’re not for me then I can give up waiting for a small.

I will enjoy your report @ToastCosILoveIt and I also wondered about mud blue thinking it was a particular Toast thing I had missed 😁
I wondered if anyone had tried the heavy cotton rolled tee here I really like it and have been stalking for a while but I would need an L which has been consistently out of stock.
Nothing from the new trickle of clothes is tempting me.
With regards to why I like Toast I like the kind of 'work wear' asthetic of a lot of the clothes and I like the fact they are hard wearing and 'practical' while still (I find) being stylish.

No fenugreek balloon trousers in store, all sold out. But they did track a pair down for me in Shoreditch so they're winging their way to me via post!

I tried the space check balloon trousers on in a small, distinctly unflattering and lacklustre so that's scratched that itch.

The surprise lovely items were the Prince of Wales check trousers and matching jacket. Lovely in the flesh and flattering. They come up big so a 10 was good. I didn't buy them but I was tempted....

I was limited on time didn't try on anything else but didn't see any of the new stuff from yesterday's website on the shop floor.

Just re the speed of returns convo, i sent 4 packages back Tuesday and 3 were processed today!

Well back from York, they didn’t have the jacket in stock, but I did manage to pick up a fairly big haul … I’ll buy the jacket and trousers I was after online, we nipped to Margaret Howell outlet whilst in York, shame they had a beautiful skirt but not in my size …

Pleased to see some socks in there (presume as consolation for lack of jacket and trousers 😉)

I found the returns I sent were processed very fast, 2-3 days

I’m almost certain the York shop had some of the FENUGREEK trousers today, I didn’t check what size as the cut isn’t for me..

Mines a good egg… he works very hard and enjoys treating his family.. we’ve just moved house along with our son having crohns( 3mths in and out of hospital). So it’s been all go recently, today was a much needed down day ….

Yes, indeed… house renovations ongoing, aggressive treatments will hopefully start to work, son is only 11, so it’s tough going on him.
