ive just bought this dress for a wedding in July but now I’m having second thoughts.
it looked all floaty and romantic in the changing room but now I’m wondering if it looks like a nighty? Now I’ve got that thought in my head I can’t get rid of it!
what do you think pls?

@Gridhopper thank you x

@Donehere ooh now there's a thought! Hadn't thought of tying the belt at the back. Thanks

It's a lot pinker than in the photo from the website. If it was paler it would be a better look. The shape itself is fine but the colour is a bit 80s.

@RampantIvy I think they often cut off at the least flattering part of the arm, and in this particular dress they're quite wide so just 'hang' off the harm in a shapeless unfinished looking way.

Slim, structured, tailored sleeves look a bit better, but it's my least favourite sleeve length.

Can you make the belt sit a bit lower on you? On the model it seems more on her waist, which balances the top and bottom halves of the dress nicely. It looks like it might move nicely when you walk and dance.

@Tanaqui thanks, I'll try it. I see your point. It is very swishy, not that I'll be doing a lot of swishing 🤣
