Powdery perfume

Can anyone recommend a perfume with strong powdery notes?
I have googled powdery perfumes and Guerlain's Insolence looks promising, however there's no place nearby where I could go check the actual smell and I'm kinda reluctant to order it without trying... Does anyone have it?

Narciso Rodriguez Poudré is a nice powdery scent!

Cheap and cheerful but Anais Anais in the white bottle!

Chanel No5 is the Queen of powdery perfumes.

I have it its my favorite, lovely

Insolence is better than all those mentioned if you want powdery, and lasts all day

Order a few dupes from perfume parlour to try before you commit to buying the 'real thing' if you're not sure?

I'm googling all the notes of the mentioned perfumes to see what might suit best.

@YellowAndGreenToBeSeen I smelled Chanel No5 once and I remember disliking it. Admittedly, that was many years ago and the tastes do change! However I have this idea that Chanel No5 isn't a very "young" scent (I'm sort of a "girly girl", early 30s)... I suppose I should try smelling it in a shop (if I can find it).
I guess I should have included in my original post my favorite perfumes (Modern Princess and Osmanthus by L'Occitaine) to give a general idea of what I like!

@WimbleOfWombledon unfortunately I'm in Japan and we don't have anything like a perfume parlour here. Or maybe we do and I'm just unaware (off to google).

Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker is a very powdery scent x

@toucaninjapan There is Chanel No5 L'eau which is the clear one. It's got the loveliness of the OG No5 but so much more wearable and much less intense. I'm early 30's and love it

Parisienne by ysl and Stella are both powdery and nice.
Can you order samples from anywhere?

Also Shalimar by Guerlain is powdery after it's settled

I've recently bought Yardley of London EDT and it smells lovely - just like the talc. Love it!

Valentino Valentina Poudre

Sorry OP, no help. Parisienne has been discontinued I believe, which is gutting as it’s the only thing that I likes that didn’t give me a headache!

I love Nina Ricci’s L’air du temps. That to me is really soft, clean and powdery.

Guerlain is the master of powder.
The most powdery for me is L'Heure Bleu, Shalimar is a more spicy powder whereas LHB is softer. Après l'ondee is powdery violets.

Frederic Malle Portrait of a Lady is a powdery rose.

I can't think of any Chanels other than Coco that dries down to a powdery scent, or Diors, though possibly Diorissimo. Maybe some of the modern ones.

I wear insolence edp it’s a beautifully lingering scent with just the right amount of powdery fragrance to it
Kenzo flowers is a little sweet for me but very powdery

You can get samples of most perfumes on Ebay for a few quid. Worth trying a couple of the suggestions here before committing.
My favourite powdery fragrance is Jessica Simpson - Fancy Nights. It really doesn't smell like a usual 'celeb' perfume. But I think it's discontinued now as I have to buy bottles on Ebay.
