Hmm. We don't usually talk to each other like this on our threads, so I don't see the need to be so abrasive. We police our threads extremely well, focus on the clothes not the women who wear them and usually it's newbies to the thread who cause any bumps along the way.

I always parrot this when this issue raises its head, but what makes these threads work is the fact that we all have different observations and opinions to make and the discussions we have around the clothes are all the more interesting for it, especially when it comes to topics like Erdem (the Posh Girls Per Una) or Meghan's pompom dress (I think I'm the only one on here who loved it) or Kate's never ending collection of green coats!

Completely agree re. Zara... I suspect there has been some styling advice over the past year as I have noticed a big improvement. I've been quite critical of her outfits in the past, but I've liked almost everything she has worn recently. She has been embracing longer lengths, fit and flare style in dresses, and moving away from the funnel necks.

Max out and about today - I love this! The orangey reds broken up by the bag and check out her fab earring ms 🥰

I agree that's one of Zara's better outfits.

Mathilde and Elisabeth are in Egypt at the moment, and though I usually feel fairly indifferent to Mathilde's clothes, I love this dress - the cut-out fabric is so summery, and I think the neckline/shoulder line is perfect. I'm less keen on Elisabeth's pink suit, which I think is rather too old for her.

And then to cheer us up on this cold, wet night (well here in the NW anyway), we have Max in a very orange outfit. Surely this will test even your love of colour, @Maireas?

I love those oversized fur trimmed hats that Camilla wears. Made by Lock, the oldest hat maker in the world, and the oldest shop in London, Camilla has them in various colours, beige, green and grey, she's also got one or two of their fedoras.
She looks so snug and warm in them, no wonder she loves them!

Think Mathilde's dress would look better in a different colour. Whole effect is a bit pale and pasty somehow. Agree the shape is nice.

Max is back! I love that suit, @MotherofPearl - except I'd wear it with a bright pink shirt 😉! Love her earrings.
I agree re Mathilde's dress, she's quite a conservative dresser (the anti Max), but it's very nice. Elisabeth looking good in bright pink.

I think that white dress is beautiful. Simple and sits beautifully on her.

I can see a lot of Queen Paola In Elisabeth.

Max was visiting an arts project in The Hague, which supports young bicultural artists and craftspeople, which must have influenced her choice of vivid colours! The complete ensemble is by Joseph, though I would probably have chosen a different coloured top underneath the jacket. The total "look" is very Max!

I like the pale dress, but do think darker accessories would have been better. Navy shoes and handbag, or perhaps a strong, dark red, would have worked well imo.

I agree that you can see a lot of Paola in Elisabeth.

Max always looks so vibrant and happy. I love the brightness of the colour. What are the earrings? They look like little guitars or saxophones 🙂

I really like Max in that vibrant orange, it suits her. The handbag works well too as someone upthread mentioned already (sorry I can't remember who).

I’ll be up for the heist, though given I have turned up at the wrong address for 3 meetings this week perhaps not anything to do with directions….perhaps I can dress à la Max and be the decoy?

And much as I love that pink colour on CP Elisabeth, it is a bit of an aging look.
