HOTTER shoes- are they awful or nice?

I've found some surprisingly 'ok' trainers online, reduced, and they are Hotter. This is slightly tongue in cheek, as a friend used to joke the brand were very old lady style.

Verdict?

Also, does anyone know about sizing as they are also available in half sizes. I'm between a 5 and 5.5.

I used to get their ballerina pumps for work as I found they gave support that other brands wouldn't and were very comfortable. I was in my late 30s when I first got a pair.
I'm now pushing 60 and bought my first pair for a long time in the January sales, suede ankle boots. I love them. Very comfortable (I can't cope with heels these days) and even my daughter was surprised they were Hotter.

I have small slim feet and I love them maybe that helps them look less granny like. Always buy in black though

I have several pairs of shoes and boots from them. They had a phase of doing some heels which were fantastic - comfortable and elegant. I have shoes and boots that look great and I can walk a good distance / work / dance / stand at a party all night in. Sadly they no longer do any heels at all. I'm yet to find a good replacement and my favourite ones have now just about had it.
Great customer service.
Bring back some heels Hotter!

I’ve just run the Winchester boots past DD (student, 19, piercings, cool as a cool thing). Her verdict is ‘Yeah, those are kind of zazzy. Keep.’

I bought these in the sale, thought they'd be comfy for festivals. So far they rub.

Got to say I feel cheated!

The Tourist Sandals often come up on threads where people are looking for comfy site seeing sandals.

I think they're ok, but I'm a 9 and I like an ugly sandal - I have a a small collection of Keens.

You might want to start a thread in the chat topic as your post is going to get lost or ignored in this thread. You'll get more advice that way.

Good luck!

How do I post on the Facebook page please

ginnyfriend · 13/03/2023 11:22

@Angie198
Here's how you can create a thread of your own in the chat topic. Might be quicker than Facebook .

I have some hotter sheepskin lined suede slipper boots and they are the best thing ever. However they used to be my grandmothers so perhaps the brand is associated with older people? I don’t care I love them, they remind me of gran and are the best thing ever on winter mornings!

purpledalmation · 13/03/2023 12:12

Have some lovely grey suede boots with tassels at the back. Comfy but just look like flat boots.

graysquirrel · 13/03/2023 22:00

I own some boots. Look like something 20+ years older would wear but they're absolute bliss for my feet. My commute can take 3+ miles in a day and can't be doing with wearing trainers and swapping shoes and I've had no issues with these.
Also wide enough I don't get ingrown toenails either.
I figure I need my feet to last another 40 years to carry me, so I'm going to look after them!

I have the Tourist sandals in tan, and I actually really like them. Very comfortable, although when I bought them I didn't realise they were an old lady brand as 'ugly' sandals were kind of in that year! They've been going strong for a couple of summers and still look very presentable.

chalkiegirl · 14/03/2023 10:34

Love their suede trainer style shoes, have them in several colours and wear them all the time. They’re comfortable and my problem feet like them.
But then I’m ancient and put comfort before fashion these days and I think they look ok. Having said that I wouldn’t even consider some of their styles which really are ‘old lady’ shoes!
