Daily SPF 50 that you can actually wear every day?

I've started using trentinoin at night so need to use sunscreen consistently. I never really used sunscreen before unless at the beach or something, hence a lot of sun damage.

I've tried some different brands, and never really got in the habit of wearing sunscreen daily like you're supposed to. Mostly because I didn't want to be at work etc with a white flaky film all over my face and neck.

Lately I've splashed out on a few sample sizes of better brands and they're ridiculous. The latest was £15 for a small bottle of Boots no7 advanced whatever, put it on and gave it a while to settle, ended up with again a scaly and pilly white sheen. It stings like anything too. I mean I'd wear it at the beach but I have to be presentable at work.

Any recommendations or should I just get a big hat?

NO7 is good but I like the spray one for over make up

I use Altruist. For my face I use Altruist face fluid. No smell, sinks in well, no white cast and works under make up. And they donate a portion of their profits to charity.

Second this. It's cheap as chips too. Best sunscreen I've ever used.

Another vote for Altruist or Gruum
I have vitiligo and wear a full face of make up - either of these sit nicely underneath my primer and I never ever burn.
Altruist do great charitable works too

Thanks so much for the recommendations!

I've tried them all, Clarins, LRP, Korean ones...the absolute best lightweight and moisturising formula I go to is Nivea Kids Protect. It is 5* sunrated and a great affordable price. I'll never go back to other brands again!!

I have a Korean mineral one that I absolutely adore, and I've tried tonnes of SPF 50s. It's called Sunprise. I add a couple of drops of foundation as mineral spfs tend to have a white cast.
