Not the most exciting of threads, I'm afraid!

Should I keep these shoes for wearing to work, or are they a bit teenage, perhaps even toddlerish, for a 40yo woman?

Not my style at all but that chunky look is really fashionable and I don’t think it’s just a child’s look.

I'd have to see the rest of you before I could decide.

Might be just about acceptable in a flat leather finish but patent? Very kiddie like.

I think they're fab. Wouldn't suit my big feet but if I was a size 4/5 I'd wear them.

Mary Janes can be lovely but these look a bit cheap...

They're much less twee in the asos link. I think the way you're standing with your foot turned in is adding to the toddler vibe rather.

Return. They look like My First Clark’s School Shoes.

I'd go for some lace up Doc Martins instead. Very comfortable and give off the same look but slightly more 'grown up' 😊.
