@faustina Bed linen top tip noted - just ordered with the matching pillowcases. Cannot WAIT for it to arrive, have been wanting Toast bed linen for so long. Plus of course it comes out of our house account so none of my money spent 😊

faustina · 23/03/2023 21:36

@Saurus72 - I hope you enjoy your house funded toast buy! Have just remembered, it smelt a bit weird when it arrived so I had to wash it - all fine afterwards though

Saurus72 · 23/03/2023 22:09

Oh that is weird. Bargain - £90 for the super king duvet cover and am hoping to be using it for years. Also nervous it may be a gateway drug into all Toast bed linen. 🤷‍♀️

dudsville · 23/03/2023 22:54

@neveradullmoment99, enabler! 😂

Ok, as usual i buy loads, so forgive the long list! I've got the bracken neat cardigan - I've not seen them in a sale before and I've wanted it for ages, the sale price is amazing.
The denim workwear skirt, I've had my eye on it for awhile. The lofty yolk in plum. I wasn't initially drawn to it, and the reviews say it stretches, but i became interested when I really liked how the other colour was layered over a dress, and i think its a good sale price.

I've got the blue fair isle - I've lived in the bitter chocolate since getting it in the last sale and I'm really loving warm thin wool jumpers. The olive check dress, the bordeaux mittens, the navy/mustard and the lotus nighties, a blue emma and two pairs of socks. 😅

🤣🤣🤣🤣
So tempted by that little cardi!
Love it in green 😍

I recommend the velvet jacket by the way, is lovely! Size down maybe.

Is that the cotton velvet in bitter chocolate? I ordered that........hoping it's not too boxy, or too big.

Stoic123 · 23/03/2023 23:25

@dudsville - the bracken cardi just needs the MH scarf you posted about earlier to complete your look 😉

dudsville · 24/03/2023 02:03

@Stoic123, another enabler! No other scarf compares to the MH one! It might be a birthday present!

dudsville · 24/03/2023 04:24

I've decided not to get either of the coats i was considering. I just added the organic cotton cord skirt in oil. I haven't ever tried this colour before but i bought this skirt in orange in the last sale and it's a wonderful item so I'm curious to try it in what must be an easier to wear colour. I also added the check cotton cashmere dress on slate/cord.

Looking forward to hearing how everyone's purchases turn out! I won't get to see mine for another two weeks so i shall live through you all!

dudsville · 24/03/2023 04:32

@neveradullmoment99, do you have it green or want it in green? It's cute isn't it. I only started looking at Toast a few years ago and it was available then and it's an item that really epitomises the retro look i like that toast does so well. I have a fluffy wool arket cardi in a similar colour but thicker wool but it's very oversized and although i love it, i rarely wear it and often wish it was a neater fit, so I'm looking forward to it!

faustina · 24/03/2023 06:20

I have cracked and ordered two sizes of the blonde cord jacket and also the yellow pique shirt (I love the navy one I bought in the last sale)

I'm tempted to get it in green. I.like the brown and it would match a lot of the colours in dresses I have from Toast. I bought a beautiful little cardigan from seasalt in a biscuit colour that looks fab a few weeks ago.

This is beautiful in real life. Its now reduced. Would love it in the purple! Not left in my size. It's perfect for dresses.

Yes that one, it’s beautiful, falls really nicely. It is boxy but the material is very soft so it falls well. It’s not massive, but I have a 12 which is my usual Toast size but smaller than in real life.

I’ve also ordered the Rosewood cardi, also tempted by the green but what with all my Thorn Shirt ordering (3 sizes coming!) I feel a bit silly with all my toast parcels on the way so far!

have realised how enormous the parcel with the buffalo check coat is going to be! Will be a pain to return once I realise that I cannot spend £375 on a coat.

Zoetrope1 · 24/03/2023 07:38

I couldn’t resist the neat cardigan in green 😍

But arghh the tie neck donagal cardigan I paid full price for is also on sale. You win some, you lose some!

lordloveadog · 24/03/2023 08:04

@neveradullmoment99 that cardigan looks lovely. Is it very short? I wish seasalt stated lengths.

I think if you go into the detais it tells you. I'll look.

They usually do all the garment measures( unlike Toast)
They have only the measure of the bigger sizes. I reckon the length will be roughly the same for all sizes.
It is shortish but fab with a dress.

Well I have placed 2 considerably large orders last night. I put them on the credit card so hopefully I can return (most of) them before I actually have to pay. I wish Toast used Klarna.

Anyway, I am treating it like trying on clothes at the shop, I am intending (she says) to only actually keep one or two!

You can get a Karna card but it doesn't do in 3, sadly.

Ah, that's reassuring, thank you. I'm 10-12 in real life, usually 10 in Toast, and ordered 10. Cross fingers! I also ordered the green fluid twill dress, and the peat donegal hat for my beloved.

Dee1224 · 24/03/2023 09:40

@AFingerofFudge your orders have made me feel a bit better about mine! I am suffering serious buyer’s remorse this morning!
I bought the linen cross back apron in the last sale. I have no idea why, as I have no real need or use for it, but I really liked it. The linen was a bit bobbly, so I complained to Toast and got a further 15% discount.

Dee1224 · 24/03/2023 09:44

@AFingerofFudge my sister uses pay in three via PayPal. I don’t really understand how it works myself!

AFingerofFudge · 24/03/2023 09:46

@Dee1224 I sometimes use pay in 4 but obviously still have to pay some on the day. Klarna has pay in 3 or pay in 30 days which is brilliant for ordering shed loads and returning without any money coming out of your account

Dee1224 · 24/03/2023 09:47

@neveradullmoment99 have you had any pinafore news? I hope that Toast tell me that I am getting a refund soon if it’s not coming! I am a bit annoyed that they would take payment for something not in stock, (if that is what has happened!)
