I’m thinking the blue shirt is the same material as the white shirt @dudsville .

I’m keeping the balloon trousers. There’s a definite green tinge to them and as someone in a review said they look lovely with navy. They’re a great summer trouser, lighter weight than an Alix .
Sizing 🙄. So in an elasticated summer trouser or culottes I have always bought an xs as I hate too much fabric or too loose a look. I ordered xs and xxs and am keeping the xxs. To me they are the size of the xs for I certainly haven’t lost weight.
The xs for me are too oversized and being linen could only get worse. They are also I think fractionally longer. xxs is at my ankle bone which is the length I wanted. The difference in size made no difference to the pleats in the front - thought it might.

No sign of a kindred gift never mind a sale.

I just watched the live - all felt a little bit hurried to me! I’m not tempted by anything else on the website at the moment, I’ll look forward to May for the next drop.

I’m glad I have a decent stock of Spring/Summer clothes tbh because so far there’s not a lot catching my eye. Also very glad of Sezane, there are some very lovely things on that website so will definitely be ordering a few bits.

I forgot to watch the styling video live but just caught up with it. I found it pretty uninspiring as well @Saurus72 . I thought they didn't show the variety they normally do, and the range of colours were pretty insipid.

I just watched the video. I'm tempted by it to pair the check skirt and matching top, which i hadn't considered it before, but i wonder if it would be too dressy for my lifestyle!

This! I've spent quite a lot from Toast. No kindred gift as yet😡
I mean they are tight for even a 15% off.

Nothing on the styling video took my fancy. Whole thing felt quite flat really.

Just ordered the Panelled Cotton Linen Dress in Slate that @Snowyowl78 liked. Thought about waiting for a sale but wanted to wear this spring/summer. Fingers crossed. Also ordered the Welsh Blanket which has come back into stock.

Went to Toast York shop at the weekend to look for the Pannelled Dress but, as not available, tried on the last V neck jersey dress in stock. It was the right size but shape wasn't good on hippy me (& I agree with @neveradullmoment99 about the pockets). Great material so understand its popularity.

Also tried on the Canvas Peacoat. Not sure about the new size guide - small was ample on me (size 12 top/14 bottoms). I liked it but thought would look better with narrower trousers (and most of mine are wide). Might look out for it in the sale to try on properly at home.

Nothing else in shop appealed so went home with consolation socks (Cotton Rib in Ink).

Still totally the wrong shape for me, but that black top does look fantastic in the first episode of Beyond Paradise! Nostalgic joy too - the story may be set in Devon, but it's definitely filmed in Cornwall. I used to hike a few miles of very hilly coast path to run errands in that wee town. Happy days.

My 3 pairs of 'consolation' (for the lack of sale) socks arrived yesterday. I bought the ink as well @Stoic123 , also the Japanese hemp in green, which were a bit disappointing as they’re not as bright as they look on my screen. My favourite, however, are the blue linen, so I’m hoping they wear well.

@Theteapotsbrokenspout - linen ones look fab. I will seek them out the next time I need consoling!

I think the video did seem quick, not so much chat . It’s always interesting to see things on though. Probably not much we hadn’t already dissected. I wouldn’t have thought of putting the blue shirt with the dip dye skirt and not sure what colour it’s going to be now, did it look greyish blue on anyone else’s screen?
I liked the checked shirt with the matching dress @dudsville , I think for me would be easier to wear that way than with a matching skirt.
We’ll have to wait for the May drop now to see if things improve.

There was a dress she waved about at the end that I liked the look of. Think it may have been the linen boat neck dress?
I also liked the trousers nikki was wearing but am also aware they wouldn't look like that on me.
A while ago they mentioned moving away from frequent sales so perhaps that is what we are seeing now? A shame though, I love the excitement of a toast sale!
@Saurus72 what has caught your eye from sezane? Love the look of their stuff but haven't bought much yet

@Stoic123 interested to know your thoughts on the linen panel dress, doesn’t seem to be very popular on the website yet, I’ve just had it shortened and now it’s more me sized!

I also noticed the colour change of that blue shirt @Countmeout, for me it would be an improvement.

Here is the twill workwear shirt in Thorn..I love the colour and works both as a shirt and a jacket ..
Planning to wear it over that peaks print dress as a jacket for a wedding.
It comes up big though ( I ordered both 14 and 16 because of being busty but am keeping the 14 ).. @Snowyowl78 , it was you who wanted the 12 , wasn't it ? ...I think that you could try the 10 ...

Also like it with thes Hush wide leg trousers. They may not be your thing but I would work with another floaty trouser.. I can see that its going to be a really versatile piece..

Isn't it about now that someone finds the secret sale? where are all the sale sleuths?

I’m wondering if there is not going to be a sale at all! When you search for sale it comes up with all the wintery stuff you’d expect so I was assuming that’s what it would be.

i have also had the washed black v neck dress shortened and now it’s perfect! Pleased.
