What have you bought recently that was worth every penny?

For me a Frandsen puffer coat that kept me warm in the very cold weather

@bendmeoverbackwards Pretty generous. I'm a 16 - 18 bought large and it's flattering. I did note that some reviewers said to size down, but I didn't want it to cling. Check the M&S size guide, I'd say go for that.

@Whatthediddlyfeck I love Zara's satin shirts - I have the ones from last year in jewel colours - red, blue and green - they wash well, no ironing and look fab - might have to buy that one now!

@happyinherts love that dress - what's it like for baggy bum-ness? does it hold it's shape well?

My latest buy - 3 sweatshirts from Primark - £6 each - beige, turquoise and grey - so comfy

@ghostyslovesheets I've only washed it the once, and it's kept its shape. Mind you, the smaller you are, the better it will probably fare.

@ghostyslovesheets But remember to wash it inside out - and on delicates. Not trying to teach you to suck eggs, but it's woolly and liable to bobble. I've made that mistake before.

My recent favourites are. Some elf makeup I got the brow gel, a tinted lip balm and a blusher palette,very impressed as good as my pricier items.

Charity shop burgundy suede keen trainers,I love them so comfy.

Best of all for valentine's my husband got me the Rosie by autograph dressing gown, camisole and french knickers.

A recent good buy for me was a L'Oréal colour riche lipstick that works brilliantly as a cream blush as well as a lipstick. So that's one less thing I need in my make up bag now!

Also very impressed with the new little e.l.f pots of bronzer in the cool skin shades - I need a bit of grey in my bronzers for contour and these really deliver. The tan ones are good too for cheekbones and nose.

Hada Labo serums and moisturisers -am so surprised at how much difference they've made to my dry winter skin.

Sisley concealer cream for under eye area and any dark spots. Great for dark circles and goggle marks! (Swimmer).
Absolute game changer as I can get out of the pool and off to work with no 'owl face' after being in the pool.
Expensive but worth it.

Some lovely things on this thread! I’m really enjoying reading about them.

I’ve recently bought a beautiful phase eight wool coat from a charity shop, and two Coach handbags via vinted. And last week got a gorgeous Pixie eyeshadow palette from M&S - it’s got some beautiful pinky shades which really suit my eye colour. The bags are maroon and purple, I’m definitely enjoying berry/pink colours at the moment!

I recently bought a Korean skincare brand serum; skin1004 Madagascar centella ampoule and I'm in LOVE. It's so soothing, calms and redness and feels very hydrating. Really good for sensitive dry skin. Also I'm literally a lipbalm hoarder and have millions but I recently bought tinted lanolips balm in rhubarb and it's lovely. When I had DC I used the nipple cream as a lip balm and it made my lips amazing but it's nice to have a tinted one. Nice texture and subtle tint.

The Skin 1004 Centella is good post shaving too.

Creed Aventus for Her Perfume, super expensive but treated myself as I love it so much and literally sit inhaling myself once I use it.

Enjoy @RubiesandRose i got DH the men’s version for Christmas. I like the smell of the ladies version, very fresh, but unfortunately it turns on my skin.

@D20 I smelt it on a friend and fell in love with it but had to have copious sample sprays before I committed to buying just in case it didn't smell right on me!

@RubiesandRose I also wear Aventus for Her - it's so distinct and different, and makes me so happy too!

A new perfume purchase that I also love is Clean Reserve Blend SUEDED OUD - softer, but might appeal if we have the same taste!
