SOTD is Chopard Neroli a la cardamome du guatemala, craving lighter scents atm. Even though the weather is not quite there yet

SOTD is Entre Ciel et Mer by Pierre Guillaume. Catching up with a friend today for lunch and a beach walk. The sun is trying its hardest but it's still on the nippy side. I smell as if I've just been for a dip in tropical waters, though!

SOTD a tester of Alive - Hugo Boss. Pleasant but doesn't smell of much beyond generic floral fruitiness on me.

@Chevyimpala67 Three weeks on I'm still coughing. Sometimes at night I still can't stop coughing, so I'm using my inhaler.
I was properly ill for two weeks but it didn't go to my chest until the second week. It started off with a really terrible sore throat & came from dd I think. She goes to a school with lots of international students so goodness knows where it came from.

Sotd for the first time this year is Miller Harris Fleur du Matin.

In my 100 Bon Elemi & Ensens and Myrrh & Ambre (dark boxes). (A poor woman's CdG incense series!). These are both good and ridiculous value at TK Maxx. They make me realise elemi and frankincense are not quite the same, although I think they are sometimes used interchangeably in note listings. Elemi has a freshly cut greens/spicy aromatic quality to it.

I like the sweet resinousness of myrrh even more than I like the Elemi. The Myrrh & Amber is really very good. I am experimenting with layering both. DS says I smell like an old church.

Both nod to my desert island pick: Sahara Noir (if you are still posting, huge thanks to the LFP who sold me her bottle years ago, still treasured).

Sotd is Coco mademoiselle. I didn’t even leave my home 🤦🏻‍♀️

@alltheevennumbers I was very tempted to buy those 100 bon perfumes & went as far as adding them to my TK Maxx basket. But then I remembered I'm trying to reduce my stash 😔
I love the scents of Elemi & Myrrh & add the essential oils to my bath. You would probably love l 'Occitane's L Eau d' iparie as well.
Sotd is Papillons Tobacco Rose, because I wanted to wear some OakMoss perfume today & it was so chilly first thing.

SOTD Tauer's Reverie au Jardin.

One of my favourite spring perfumes, bringing much needed joy and comfort on what is going to be probably the hardest day of my working life. As of next week, my job no longer exists and the career I have spent the best part of 20 years building is effectively over. I am completely numb and disbelieving (whilst also utterly, utterly furious), and have no idea what's next for me. Heading into the office in the next couple of hours to start working out what the hell happens now. Wish me luck!

SOTD Kayali Vanille Coco Utopia, from the Kayali sample set. I fancied a summery, beachy type perfume as the sun is out, but this one's a bit rubbish and disappeared within half an hour. I'd have been better off with Next Summer Sun, which costs considerably less!

I'm so sorry, @TakeYourHatOffBoy I hope today goes as well as it can do. I may be in a similar situation but don't know yet. It's very unsettling.

Funny you mention this; am on the look out for a cheap bottle of Eau d'Iparie! I do also rate L'Occitane Ambre (a rare FB repeat purchase).

SoT Extreme Purete (Gres again) which is an airy/green tobacco and soft fig leaf. Best tobacco I know for spring, almost a traditional cologne effect.

Sorry to hear this news @TakeYourHatOffBoy - sounds very painful and frustrating. Hope scent can bring you a small amount of solace.
