I’m smiling at the thought of a chap in shorts and sandals indicating that the weather is warm. I see people dressed like that year round here. Flip flops in snow isn’t unheard of!

Happy Weekend everyone. I am soo happy I got a lie in, work is just mad just now (Scottish public sector and it’s budget time…) I love your jumper @EllaPaella. And yours from yesterday @Puddinandpie (and your dog is as nosy as mine!) This outfit is from last night. The bf and I were going to a get together with a group of friends. After hanging around at an empty venue, checking the address and yes, it was right, we realised we were a week early….! Oh well, so he took me on a ‘date’ to an empty venue and our local co-op! At least the girl in the shop admired my DMs. Dress is McQ from McQueen.

No pic yet but will be wearing this jumper either over a green/black/ecru patterned F&F dress or with darker blue jeans or black jeans. And New Balance leopard and black print trainers.

@Benjispruce4 the good news is that having tried what feels like thousands of pair of wide leg jeans from Hush, M&S, H&M, Whistles to name a few these came up on a google search and I decided to try them and turns out they are the nicest I found so far. Soft denim, longer length and the fit around waist is mid length so they don't exaggerate my C section pouch. And cheap! Win win Jeans

Well all my blazers turned up and unfortunately I like them all🙈 there all perfect colours for spring/summer, dh said why can't you keep them all and I had to explain to him that I just can't and now I'm really struggling to justify why actually I can't, damn it!! Conundrum! And I've also ordered 7 more pairs of shoes/sandals for summer (i know im hanging head in shame)😬
Super busy today as I'm in the mist of a birthday party for ds11 who's birthday was last week but today is party time!
It's not as cold and yet I just feel cold and very tired so maybe that's it!

Perhaps you’re in danger of running out of storage space @Puddinandpie? Or at least that is would be a plausible reason for me!

@GonnaGetGoingReturns I love that jumper, I've got my eye on it myself! @EllaPaella I would never have thought of looking at JD Williams for jeans but those are fab, what a bargain. I love Google search for a specific item, so handy and it often gets me looking outside of the usual places I shop.

Feeling spring-like in pink for my trip to the hairdresser today (I've gone considerably shorter), although regretted not putting on a warmer jumper when I went out, still pretty chilly here.

@Cardigansalltheway - thanks re the jumper, I’ve been looking for something in that colour shade for a while but not seen anything until the other week. I really should be on a “no/low spend” but Oliver Bonas clothes are generally good value and well made and I know I’ll wear it a lot.

@EllaPaella - your jeans are great and now I’m tempted by them too! I actually got a knee length denim pencil skirt from J D Williams last year, think one of the main reasons I got it as it had stretch in it and was flattering. I don’t care if they’re not a trendy brand!

I think you should definitely get @GonnaGetGoingReturns, agree re the quality of Oliver Bonas clothes. I've not got much from there, but what I have I've worn for years. I actually think it would look lovely with the J D Williams wide jeans ☺️.

I really like the brown and denim blue combination @Sooverthemill. Those shoes are a nice complement. I really must look online at Russell and Bromley. There used to be a shop near to my mum's, but that was years ago and I'm not sure if it is still there. They always had such a wide selection of leather shoes. Shoes are another weakness of mine. I can't just be a bag lady.

Speaking of boots I ordered these for £12 reduced from £85 real suede (nastygal seem to have me by the balls when it comes to their sales)🤭
