Today I'm meeting a dear friend for a dog walk

Today's office outfit. I've bought this dress very recently during Boden winter sale and it feels like I've worn it a zillion times already! I'm so glad I got it.

I have to work over the weekend unfortunately, we are having some equipment installed and I have to be on-site for the European engineers who are doing all the technical stuff. I'm feeling quite sick because of a new virus from DD's nursery, but who cares, you have to do what you have to do.

To all the lovely lurkers - please come and join us and post pics! I love seeing what real people wear and how we all put together outfits. I am going out later so will try and remember to put up a pic - WFH just now and decidedly not suitable for your viewing pleasure, lol.

still reading just not posting much - todays outfit adidas leggings, yoga top, swimming hoody and new balance trainers! I have been to a gym class! Then just housework and jobs.

I went into a local boutique type shop today and they had a good sale on. Tried a few things on but there was only one thing that I felt fitted nicely and would fit well in my wardrobe, a long warmish cardigan. I could see me wearing it quite a bit as the weather warms up with a nice chunky scarf and boots.

@Shannith as an owner of dogs, I sympathise with the spending 6 months covered in mud - I can't even begin to imagine how much there must be when horses are involved!

@faffadoodledo love the stripes and @Sooverthemill I couldn't agree more - it's how you wear your clothes that's the interesting thing.

More office wear! Everything Zara, which I know is a bit lazy, but I find them so good for traditional work wear which I resent spending £££ on.

Thank you @Cardigansalltheway , I always seem to put those on for the wrong weather. It is sure to rain/ snow/ sleet whilst I wear my DMs, and they are slowly showing it.

@Cardigansalltheway Dogs, cats and horses. It's got to the point that I'm refusing to wash any of my outerwear until it's been mud free for at least a week.

In the last week I've been told I looked very horsey (I was walking the dogs and not wearing any obvious riding gear) and also very country. I think they meant bag lady.

That jacket is fabulous - I love that colour.

Half term next week and I'm going to take DD places where I can wear actual outfits like a real girl.

I met a very glamorous friend, in real life she's immaculate, for a (muddy) dog walk over the farm this morning and she said her husband had told her she looked like a refugee when she went out this morning to do the horses.

She was wearing what appeared to be a boiler suit nicked off a painter, a jacket with no pockets and a brown beanie. And I'm not entirely sure she was wearing matching boots.

@Cardigansalltheway fab blazer, I've just ordered 6 more blazers to try on as I want some bright spring/summer ones they are just sooo versatile! So much for no spend its gone out of the window unfortunately 🙈 I'm defo only keeping maybe 2 though ( I'll try not to like them all) 🤣

@Cardigansalltheway lol, he's a people watcher so he will watch all the people go past from "his chair", whether walking their dogs or off for a Friday night stroll, he's a nosy bugger 🤣
People look up and often point and go awww! He's so bloody big aswell, so he looks a bit like a beast with his baggy face and mouth wide open, tongue hanging out gawping out the window! If there was a cat or fox you'd soon know about it, as he has a habit of trying to claw his way out, at the window, followed by enormous barks, dopey sod, ive actually had postman throw mail at me because they have been to scared to come up the path because they've seen him eyein' em up🙈 (hes a secret BFG)😉

@Shannith not horses but 2 dogs and 3 cats and the muddier of DHs. I basically don’t clean the floor December to March as the minute I do so it’s filthy with mud again. I loathe winter

very gentle day today as DD has been most unwell and we are planning to go out for dinner so I need to make sure she is up to being left with a sitter ( chronic illnesses mean she can’t be left alone). She’s not awake yet so I will se how she is later. Hoping she’s a lot better
