Thank you @Puddinandpie , I am sure your DC absolutely love their beautiful names ❤
My DD doesn't have a particularly unusual name (it's used in different variations widely across Europe), but it's not a Japanese name (gasp). 😂

No OOTD pic as I'm wearing my usual dull nursery run uniform, but look at this, I saw these two pieces online and I think I'm in love.
They won't win any fashion awards, won't flatter my body shape, the trousers look a bit like my toddler's clothes, but I'm a sucker for embroidery, especially if it's something fun. I don't really need anything new in my wardrobe (except for some work clothes, but there's no rush to buy), but these are 100% cotton, they are not very expensive and I think they are so cute. 😭

@toucaninjapan I think those are gorgeous. Not sure I could get away with wearing the dress, it would be like a sack on me as I am only 5'3, although I think it's super cute and if it suits you it would look great. The trousers are beautiful and I would totally wear those. I love cotton Jersey fabric for trousers but it is difficult to find anything nice apart from leggings.

Sooverthemill · 07/03/2023 08:16

And another handknit! It’s bloody freezing again, we’ve had a sprinkling of snow to which I heartily object.

jumper: knitted by me ( one of my favourites)
jeans: raey
shoes: converse
tee under: Sézane

Puddinandpie · 07/03/2023 14:23

Everyone looking fab as usual 😍

I've had an ear ache all morning listening to the sh#% my mother has been spilling about why she let us down yesterday morning for dh's hospital app,
It was the usualcluster of crap excuses, along the lines of my nan(she now lives with my mum) isn't speaking to my mums dh, so she couldn't possibly leave 2 grown adults together in a house, to behave like adults!!😒

Anyhow enough ranting, it is bloody cccccold to say the least it was snowing earlier for a bit!
Jumper- boohoo it's green but can't tell in pics
Skirt- shein
Boots- hof
Bag- shein, it's a cheapy but I love it as a throw everything in and go bag!
Added aviator coat as super warm!

You all look lovely!

Total respect @Sooverthemill for your knitting talent!

I really liked your white and blue thick jumper from the other day @Softpebbles.

Your dress is superb @Purplecatshopaholic , those boots are very very cool too.

Very standard today:

Cord dungaree dress: TU
White shirt: TU
Boots: Clarks (don't fit this outfit, but time was short)

@HorribleHisTories15 I love that outfit, and the boots do go, they look edgy and cool 😎
@OublietteBravo thanks for the skirt love, I'm loving your dress the colour is beautiful!

Netcam · 07/03/2023 19:09

Loving all these dresses,@Puddinandpie
@HorribleHisTories15
@OublietteBravo
Inspiring me to get a winter dress out, if only it would just warm up a bit first!

Netcam · 07/03/2023 19:10

@Purplecatshopaholic
@Cardigansalltheway
Great dresses too

Puddinandpie · 07/03/2023 19:20

@Netcam go for it, if my dress/skirt is long enough I wear skinny joggers or fleece leggings under it to keep me warm, then add a base layer/long sleeve top underneath it also and throw a chunky cardi, jumper over the top, it keeps me toasty all day and you wouldn't know that I'm done up like a kipper🤭

OublietteBravo · 07/03/2023 19:31

I wore today's dress with thermal leggings from M&S Grin

Netcam · 07/03/2023 19:56

I tend to wear merino leggings and merino thermal tops under my wool dresses too, I just don't find all of that as warm as wool trousers and a jumper with thermals underneath. But I'll give it a go very soon, just not quite yet, it even tried to snow a bit today.

EnoBaby · 07/03/2023 20:14

M&S sweater, Topshop trousers, Zara boots

@Purplecatshopaholic Loooove that VW dress, the draping is gorgeous.
@OublietteBravo Your jumpsuit outfit was great, I don't own a jumpsuit/boilersuit, but that one is the kind I like.

At home today, I have thermal layers on under my usual go-to: trousers and jumper in grim 'colours'. When I did school run I wore a full length, black duvet coat and regular, black Docs. No snow but quite cold here.

Jumper: H&M
Trousers: really old 7 For All Mankind, bought on clearance back when department store sales were good
Scarf: no label, think it might belong to DP

Cardigansalltheway · 08/03/2023 09:59

I'm getting SO bored of knitwear!

Jumper: ASOS
Joggers: Hush
Trainers: Adidas

OublietteBravo · 08/03/2023 10:21

I do not like our new office. It is extremely noisy and cramped. The one good thing about it is that the heating works. So I don’t actually have to wear my chunkiest knitwear even though it is snowing.

Jacket & blouse: Hobbs
Culottes: M&S
Boots: Matalan

Purplecatshopaholic · 08/03/2023 11:19

Love that outfit @OublietteBravo, and glad to hear your heating is working! It’s flippin Baltic here too with more snow. WFH today so an All Saints slip dress and woolly socks it is! Might jazz it up to take doggies out and will post a pic then.

No picture, but been outside most of the day in sleet and snow. Wore as many layers as I could, Aclima woolshell trousers with Smartwool base layer leggings, Icebreaker base layer top with ancient Woolovers thick grey jumper, Icebreaker pink padded jacket and big yellow waterproof raincoat, with yellow wool gloves and yellow knitted hat from Etsy, along with Hoka Challenger goretex trainers and long Icebreaker wool socks. My watch tells me I did 12093 steps out there dressed up for the Arctic and I wasn't cold, so I'm feeling virtuous at least. Now soaking in a hot bath.
