Photo didn’t post did it?!

All in green and it's a home day. Jumper is seamless shetland wool made in Scotland from Croft house. Fitflop mukluk house boots (my green ones) and wide legged trousers. I shouldn't have bought these, they arrived today, I'm on a no spend year! But I really wanted some green trousers and some wide legged trousers. They are supposed to be cropped but they are full length on me, they are really soft wool, so soft and comfy, machine washable and on offer (a bit). What do you think, should I keep them?

@Rollerbird love those jeans and that jacket, trainers look good, you could also do converse style pumps or chunky boots, they would all go too!😊

DH says they look a bit grannyish, but he's not keen on wide legged trousers, he prefers leggings. But I am 53, I think I can be a bit grannyish even if my kids haven't produced any grandchildren yet!

@Netcam there not grannyish at all, team them with long sleeve top, chunky cardi and smart boots, he'll soon see there not, my dh does that all the time and it's not until I put the outfit together he realises I'm right (as always)😉

@Netcam im a massive green fan. I love them. My husband also hates wide trousers. They just aren't used to seeing them around as much.

Thanks for the support @Rollerbird and @Puddinandpie. Another photo with other stuff I have out, can't go rummaging through the wardrobe as DH WFH in the bedroom. But I think I'll keep them, green machine washable wool wide legged trousers that aren't too long for me are few and far between. Still wearing my slippers (houseboots) but after living in Japan I've never been able to wear outside shoes indoors, @toucaninjapan will be able to relate!

@Rollerbird I'd wear with brogues in either blue, green or red. Darker and metallic, if you can find some. Would go with your orange cords too. Gold would work too, either brogues or trainers

@EllaPaella that's all really good to know, thank you! I always find you so put together (like everyone else on the thread!) and I do love your style! There's actually more charity shops on my High Street than other types of shop/business so I've been inspired to go for a mooch around over the weekend! You're very lucky to have been shown dressmaking etc by relatives....I was raised by my dad mainly so no such luck 😆

@Puddinandpie I'm not great at doing my own gels and especially trying to do my right hand! But I get by after lots of practice and watching tutorials  My nails grow so quickly so I was spending so much having them done. Particularly because I prefer them to be one colour only! I done a day course prior to lockdown on gels and builder gel and that's been me ever since! That's great your nails withstood all of that, respect!! And 😍😍 to your outfit today, I love it!

So today I've been back in my comfies for WFH...

Top - EBay. Also have it in red. I'm obsessed with frills and ruffles and love the shoulders on this.
Joggers - Puma. Also have them in black.
Socks - Wool deer patterned from Amazon. Pack of 5 was about £10!
Slippers - Standard house attire!! Gift from sister. They have little pockets on the top to insert gel pads which can be heated in the microwave!

That's unusual! The link takes you to cat socks! Mine are definitely deer socks, which I got before Christmas!

Slowly catching up here as I've been so busy lately.

I've barely photographed anything I've worn recently and have also had to be in sports gear a lot.

Dressed as Gangsta Granny today but forgot to take a pic.

@takemebacktothe1990s Red Cross have a contract with Zara so their charity shops are good if you're partial to a bit of Zara.

Been out for food and drinks tonight - wore old Hush Coated jeans, DM's and a very old satin blouse from H&M circa 2012.

Welcome @takemebacktothe1990s , all styles and brands are welcome. I have a lot of hand-me-downs from my sister who is a consultant and just has a huge wardrobe. My brands are so random due to having worked on the continent and North America. My styles are uninteresting for the main part. But welcome, welcome my dearest. Wfh has made me sad to see so much unworn stuff in my wardrobe. I need a kick up the bum, hence me joining. I've had too much Riesling.
