Old products you swear by

There are so many new products out there now but I'm wondering what long established staples you swear by?

For me it's the dark blue pot of Nivea creme. The large pot is permanently in my bathroom the small tin in my handbag, it's brilliant and I can't see me swapping to a newer more expensive product

What are your oldies but Goodies?

Baby lotion

Dove/Sure Stick deodorant. It's superiority was only confirmed when it recently left the shelves for a few months due to (I think) part of the packaging coming from Ukraine. Been using it since the late 90s I think.

Similar timescale for the Boots Botanics eye make-up remover. I do try others occasionally but always come back.

Vaseline and Batiste dry shampoo are my old faithfuls. Have tried few posher dry shampoos but none were as good as Batiste.

For some reason I can’t bear the smell of Nivea now, same with Dove. Both smell too cloying now.

@RosetteNebula my dad washes his face with anything that foams, I've seen him use fairy liquid before

I love the old stuff. I'm using Nivea blue exclusively now, I also use Dove soap bars, Pears if I can find it. Head and shoulders is all I buy too. I use Vaseline on my dry elbows. If I can't find a decent cream cleanser I'll use Baby lotion. For ultra dry sore skin ill use Bepanthen nappy rash cream.

I love dove bar soap

I saw Cussions Pearl bar soap recently. Would have bought some but have too much soap already.
