Dior nail glow

I've never been a person who had their nails "done" and until fairly recently that seemed mostly normal. Most people I worked with or socialised with didn't have theirs done either.

Now, it seems like I'm the only one and I find myself embarrassed by the state of my hands.

With the best will in the world, I'm never going to be the sort of person who spends an hour or so in the salon every week or even every few weeks and my perfect world would be hands that look cared for, "manicured" but fairly natural. When I paint my nails myself they look dreadful, though I've got better at sorting out the cuticles.

Dior nail glow been suggested. It's very expensive but I'd spend it if for a fairly small investment I time I can achieve my aims.

So, how good is it and what can I expect from it? What exactly does it do? Will my hands still look shabby next to professionally done nails?

Nail Glow reportedly glows under black lighting if that’s your thing.
it does not survive dishwashing by hand or any cleaning without gloves.
NAIL INC. do a similar which I much prefer, better brush, longer lasting.

I've just ordered the essie one so will report back,

I love the Dior one but it didn't last more than a couple of days on me.

EffortlessDesmond · 20/01/2023 21:39

Mine lasts for weeks, despite me washing up without gloves. I actually have to use acetone to remove it if I want a change.

I like it, one coat looks lovely, two and it looks very pink.
I can’t get more than two days out of it, it chips easily. I only was glasses and a few other bits by hand but don’t wear gloves. To be honest, no nail varnish has ever lasted on me regardless of make

I bought the Essie one today,it's very subtle, I was hoping ot would be slightly pinker.

I too bought the Essie from Amazon, delivered today and thought the same.

Is the Dior more pink does anyone know?

Is it much different from using a clear or slightly tinted of any other brand? I use a very light pinky white for this

I think so. It just looks so much ‘cleaner’. When I have done a light pinky nail varnish, the chips are obvious.

NG or the Essie dupe grows out, very ‘your natural nails, but pinkier’, nails just look healthy and glossier.

I really recommend giving the dupe a go.

I’m never getting my nails done again after finding this

I would say NG is more subtle that the Essie one in colour, but the NG is glossier

they do the Essie in a purple tint too

I like it but find it flakes after a few days, and the pink ness foesnt really suit my skin tone. Much prefer Dior base coat Abricot, it's clear but with a very subtle nude sheen, and lasts really well. Also sorts out ridges as it's a base coat so looks ice and shiny.
