Pressed powder?

Could anybody recommend a good powder that doesn't sit on the skin visibly? I just need it to take away shine but I always seem to see it sitting there! I have the L'Oréal true match and the Rimmel one at the moment and they're just not working for me!

I use JML mineral Magic. Cheap and cheerful but it’s the best powder that I’ve ever used. Goes on really well and sits nicely-I don’t think it’s visible at all. Also lasts all day.

I use Maybelline Matte Maker. It's £3.99 and quite finely milled. I just use it on my T zone and it does the job well.

Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless finish. (Annoyingly as it's pricy)

Another vote for Beauty Pie. It’s really amazing. I never use anything else now.

Yes this. None of the cheap ones are anywhere near as good, I've tried them all!!

I was looking at this yesterday on the JL website as I have a voucher

I had the CT Airbrush powder and I found it really dense and powdery - It properly caked on me ( and I don't use much to start with). I had to bounce a damp beauty blender over it to take it down a notch so I'd advise caution with this one if you fancy it.

I was surprised how few pressed powder compacts come with a puff these days (probably good reason for it!) By Terry Hyaluronic powder does, and it's the one I ended up going for; partly because of good reviews, but also because I just couldn't be bothered finding a retractable kabuki brush to cart around in my bag whenever I needed a touch-up.

Max Factor face infinity. I've been using it for years. Love it.

I’ve used this one for at least a few years now and brilliant and affordable www.elfcosmetics.co.uk/beautifully-bare-sheer-tint-finishing-powder/300024.html?dwvar_300024_color=Medium%2FDark&cgid=face-powder#start=8
…However, looking at the availability of shades (I use a light version), I’m genuinely worried that it’s been discontinued - I really hope not!

My more expensive preferred option is this in the shade Light Plus m.maccosmetics.co.uk/product/13849/30734/products/makeup/face/powder/mineralize-skinfinish-natural

I use the Beauty Pie one around my eyes to set my concealer when I'm not wearing foundation, I've never found another powder I can do that with.

Came on to say this too. Invisible but takes away shine.

Revolution Pro CC finishing powder. It is AMAZING. And a tenner if that. Even the packaging feels and sounds expensive.
I grabbed this when my Bobbi Brown smashed. I'll never go back to high end while they still make this.

I've spent decades searching fir exactly this. Further difficult as I'm mega pale.
The very best I've found is Laura Geller Balance & Brighten which is brilliant, doesn't sit in fine lines or pores and gives a great builds or coverage and finish. Increasingly though it's difficult to get in my shade at a decent price.
A close second is MAC Mineralize natural skin finish which has same illuminating (but not shiny) effect but not quite the perfect whole combo of the LG.

Another vote for hourglass. I have the ambient lighting powder which gives a lovely glow and lasts forever. Warning: not cheap.
