Pressed powder?

Could anybody recommend a good powder that doesn't sit on the skin visibly? I just need it to take away shine but I always seem to see it sitting there! I have the L'Oréal true match and the Rimmel one at the moment and they're just not working for me!

Another vote for Beauty Pie, One Powder Wonder. i bulk buy it and live in fear of it being discontinued.

Yes this is nice. Don't add TOO much though.

That's what I like about it @yousmellnice you really can't get too much on the brush, it's very compacted.

I managed 😂i applied it in the morning quite dark and went to a restaurant for lunch and it might have been the lighting but I was SO RADIANTLY GLOWING when I caught myself in the mirror! I mean it looked OK but I looked far more glammed up than I'd thought. It is beautiful but just make sure you don't apply it in the dark!

I think because it's so fine and not clumpy or powdery I hadn't realised I didn't need to keep applying it

Yet another vote for Hourglass. I think I use dim light

venus7 · 24/01/2023 20:45

Hourglass, by terry hyaluronic...and beauty pie.

Metabigot · 24/01/2023 22:04

I have the radiant light from hourglass. Used it daily for a year now and still loads left.

After using nothing but rimmel translucent for 25 plus years i discovered poundlands translucent £1.00 ! , i actually prefer it ,stops shine ,light ,fine cover very good product.

Have you tried blotting papers? It's nicer to just absorb and remove the oil rather than adding more product to your face. Then once you've taken off most of the oil, most powder sits a lot better.

Another vote for the Bareminerals pressed mineral veil - I'm on my 3rd one! The translucent shade is invisible
