Roka sample sale

Has anybody tried this? A mystery bag for £29.95?
I’ve fancied a Roka backpack for a while but haven’t quite decided. They have this offer just now but I’m aware it could go disastrously wrong.

I ordered two bags and they were both the sherbet pink Finchley. I didn’t complain to Roka, so I was pleasantly surprised to get an email today apologising for sending two of the same colour and another bag is being sent to me!

With the 2 I ordered from Vinted I will now have 4 in total 😂which I can't really justify, so may end up selling the Bantry that's coming today, or giving it to someone as a gift. Depends what I think of the sherbet colour when I see it in the 'flesh' so to speak.

I have ordered this morning I already have a Finchley and a paddington in real - hoping for a bright one for holidays 😊

That is so good of them! I got 2 identical too, but I did a second order which had an additional bag in it, so they must be doing it as a goodwill thing. Super customer service from Roka

Mine arrived!!! 2 medium Bantry c's and a small lemongrass Canfield b for free., to go with my sherbet one from yesterday. Love 3 of them together but don't feel like the coral works with the other colours. These are going to be our travel bags so want them to "fit" together.

Does anyone want to swap my coral medium bantry c for any colour medium or large?

What kind of colour are you fancying instead of the coral?

I'd consider any. Coral so far has been the only one I don't like.

I had a look in our TK Maxx today. One round crossbody bag in pink and one yellow backpack - I think the Canfield B style for £25. I was very tempted by the backpack, would have bought if I hadn’t already done the lucky dip, or if it was in a more muted colour. A better design for a daypack imo due to more pockets inside plus somewhere to store a water bottle.

I contacted them last night re my expected package not being in collecting area. Heard back this morning that they can see the bag is being returned and they will send me out another straight away. I asked if it was possible for it not to be a pink one & they’re sending me a mint one, result! Don’t know which bag though so still some element of surprise!

Double checked, it’s a Bantry C Medium.

I will email Lesley and thank her . I might see if it’s possible to write to someone senior and point out how helpful she has been to people .

Oh gosh, my sherbet Bantry has just arrived and it's definitely a keeper, the colour really makes me smile! 😀

One Bantry B medium in sherbet in Ipswich TKMaxx this afternoon. Looking at it confirmed that it's definitely a medium I want, and that sherbet is not the colour for me!!

@Brrhitscold Love this idea, people are very quick to complain but not so quick to praise. I will do the same next week when I've taken delivery of my next bags.

So tempted to pop into TKMaxx tomorrow. But I have a Bantry C in Lime and love it.

On the other hand. I needed a bigger handbag. The Roka rucksack is great but a little big for everyday wear. So had a dig about on top of the wardrobe and have pulled out two old handbags. DH has rubbed hide food into one and it is rescued, the other has been scrubbed, hide fooded and had a new strap, not quite the colour it used to be BUT it was a favourite and I am glad to have it back.

The lucky dip element adds a bit of "I am a big girl, I can learn to love a bag" element which then adds an, I can recycle my own stuff element.

The Roka ruck sack will be great for our summer rambles, which I map and publish in a local group. Must remember to tag Roka.
