Roka sample sale

Has anybody tried this? A mystery bag for £29.95?
I’ve fancied a Roka backpack for a while but haven’t quite decided. They have this offer just now but I’m aware it could go disastrously wrong.

I've also had a dispatch notice which is amazing as I only ordered at lunchtime.

I shall get a photo later/tomorrow and upload (they’re in another room and I’m currently nursing a broken foot!) but I now have:

At least 2 are due to be gifted…. If I can bring myself to axe two from my collection 🤣

They really are! To be honest, I'm really happy with all of them. I also love the pink and mint green!

Just been in TKMaxx they are £24.95, pick whatever colour you want.
Wish I had waited as I got the dreaded sherbet pink and I’m really not keen on it and TKMaxx had lovely yellow ones.

I was in my local TKMax today in Devon and there were none. It's not a huge one though.

I can’t work out what mine are re nylon or canvas . The tag doesn’t say which . Haven’t not seen each type to compare , and know what they are, I can’t work it out !

It’s not grown on me yet. But think it might work better in spring or summer . With lighter clothes rather than coats .

im keeping mine in it’s wrapping to now and see. If still not keen will sell for what I paid on eBay or Vinted .

I think the difference is that the “canvas” ones have a canvas texture, and the other ones have a smooth finish. Both man-made materials.

Just had a look and they say it’s matt nylon or matt canvas and there are also sustainable versions of both . To add to the confusion !

The canvas ones are 100% nylon still, so I think the difference is the texture. The sustainable ones are made from recycled plastic but come in the same 2 finishes.

@spinningirl10 was that the Exeter t k maxx? That's my local one so I won't bother if there aren't any!

still no bag for me, in Ireland. 10 days after ordering. I don’t think I’m getting a bag.

I do find the Exeter stirs has different stuff to my local one!
My bag that's with DPD is coming on Monday.

I think it's a Finchley, not sure if it's small or medium though. Pretty good price!

I've got a nylon (citrus) and a canvas (purple) for comparison. The nylon is a bit shinier and smoother, it might be slightly easier to wipe clean. I think I prefer the canvas, but there's not much in it and no difference at all from a distance.

These are a medium Finchley and medium cranfield, for size comparison (I think someone asked about that yesterday) they're identical sizing as far as I can tell, just slightly different pocket arrangement.
