Has anybody tried this? A mystery bag for £29.95?
I’ve fancied a Roka backpack for a while but haven’t quite decided. They have this offer just now but I’m aware it could go disastrously wrong.

Bantry B medium in mint. Looks lovely but bet it gets dirty. Would have loved a deeper green or coral but this is fine 😀

I've got a large Finchley in Raspberry, it's huge! I love it, I travel quite regularly so I think this will be great as my travel bag. I've also ordered again :))

Ah no it's not, it's a medium Bantry, they're big aren't they! It didn't come in a bag so no label.

Well here’s a mystery for you all to solve.

My bag has just arrived, or perhaps I should say bags…………

First out of the package , not the mystery - I am ramping up suspense - was a carnaby canvas wallet in port, not what I would have chosen but will come in handy for something. Of its kind it is a good design and I do admit I like taking a zippy wallet when I go away and there is new currency to deal with!

Now the mystery, no paper label, no plastic bag, and not to be found anywhere on the roka website, so no idea what it is called , maybe it is a genuine “sample sale” sample. It’s in the yellow nylon fabric, the same size and shape as the crossbody Paddington, ie roundish, but it has handles on the top and back pack straps so not cross body. Zipped pocket on the outside plus zipped pocket and two divider pockets on the inside.

I don’t think anyone else has had one of these. I think it’s a bargain , but then why include a carnaby wallet to make up the difference? Am I looking a gift bag in the mouth?

Hmm mine has arrived with no label or plastic bag, so I wonder if it was a return.

It's a Finchley. But, I'm not sure which colour it is! Either flamingo or coral. What do you guys think? Either way, pink wouldn't have been my first choice but I quite like it.

I got that one today too! I wanted the emerald but reasonably happy, the mint green is a lovely colour. And it's much bigger than my kanken for my laptop plus all the other bits I need to squeeze in .

That looks like the Paddington back pack to me.
You may have been sent the purse as it's slightly cheaper than some of the bigger bags.

I have both of these and really like them

I couldn’t see a Paddington backpack on the roka site, I thought it might be something like that.

@viques my mum just ordered one but she got that same paddington rucksack in that colour, and they also sent her a willesden bag too.

Here it is, although I can't see it to buy anywhere.

@viques It's a pink Finchley. Either flamingo or coral but not certain which. There's a photo a few posts before this.

Google seems to think yours is a Paddington backpack. I think it's one that's no longer on sale.

I got a coral round backpack today too ! In a bag , no tag , no label . Not even a packing slip. Was the plastic bag it came in purple? Because my first one was in a black bag sent via dpd and this one purple sent via DHL. A mystery indeed .

I think you're right. Obviously the bags on the website are shot in very bright light, and edited to be super vibrant, based on comparisons to photos pps have posted on here. Compared to the website mine looks a little darker than flamingo, and a little lighter than coral, so on balance I think it's flamingo.

I got a Bantry c medium in coral too. It's bigger than I expected and although I wouldn’t have chosen the colour I think I like it and will use it in spring/summer for work.

@Xanadu58 my plastic bag-less, label-less backpack also came via DHL in a purple bag with no packing slip.

It was in purple packaging! Sounds as though the Roka packers must have come across a forgotten stash!

Kudos to the poster whose mum got a Willesden cross body as well as the back pack!

it must be fun being a Roka packer and deciding who gets what, a bit like being a Christmas elf but wearing proper clothes.

That's definitely a Paddington backpack. Looks like £50 full price, but not available on the ROKA website. Odd! Nice bag I love my Paddington
