Bea looks fabulous in black there. She has lost a lot of weight and clothes just do hang better on a slim frame.
I agree she looks very stylish and is much better at putting together a cohesive look - maybe a stylist?

PinkPanther57 · 17/12/2022 17:50

@Eaumyword I suspect you're right, if so, they are exceptionally good. I splashed out for one once and I was very disappointed, who are the stylists worth spending money on? Does anyone know? She, B, has improved her, always gorgeous hair too (?) How, just money for blow drys, etc? Taking time and trouble over appearance.?

Eaumyword · 17/12/2022 17:58

@PinkPanther57 I'd like to know! I had my colours done long ago (yes, very Bridget Jones!)🙄😂 but that definitel helps in terms of flattering one's colouring.
Bea has striking and unusual colouring so I do think she's either researched or had help in deciphering what colours/styles suit her best.
And probably regular blow dries and deep conditioning treatments.
A bit like our real life MN princessing threads 😂

Maireas · 17/12/2022 18:41

I read that Beatrice employed a top stylist who has worked for a lot of top celebrities. She is very expensive, but certainly gets results.
I agree that she has gorgeous, but slightly unusual colouring. Beautiful hair.

Beatrice has definitely found her feet recently. She looks great.

BornBlonde · 17/12/2022 20:07

Agree Beatrice looks great in recent times.

CliffsofMohair · 17/12/2022 21:59

You think the top stylist Googles all the press coverage after an event? Our words could be reaching royal ears! Loving the style Bea!

megletthesecond · 18/12/2022 10:18

Beatrice and Eugenie both look amazing these days.
Wonder what the Xmas day church plans are?

Maireas · 18/12/2022 10:59

I think they've both found their style and confidence and risen above the cruel "ugly sisters" nonsense.
I hope the Sandringham Christmas church walk happens!

I agree they have both looked great in recent years and seem to have found their feet style wise (or found a better stylist!)

Me too @Maireas! I hope the family all come out in support force and look fabulously glam! The Carol concert walk was like a glam preview of what we might see at Sandringham this year!

Aren't genetics fascinating

They are so similar!

I think Beatrice has grown up into a very pretty woman. She has beautiful eyes & a gorgeous smile,
Since she's married Edo she's blossomed & seems very happy,
And from what I've heard she's very nice & kind person.
I really thing KC (Charles) should bring her into the fold & have her as a working member of the RF as she'd be an asset just like Sophie has become. Plus it would take the stain off the others a bit.

Mind you Bea might not want to join the family business full time.

Maireas · 19/12/2022 17:24

I don't think that's going to happen, @TracyBeakerSoYeah , what with the situation with her father. She and Eugenie have lobbied on behalf of Andrew and Charles rejected the idea of any kind of royal role for him
I'm sure that she and Eugenie will continue to be welcomed at all events, though.

Wow @justasking111 they are so similar!
And hello @TracyBeakerSoYeah!💕

KillingMeDeftly · 19/12/2022 18:19

I think the whole concept of "working royal" and royal patronage is going to change quite radically. I work for an organisation that the late queen was patron of and we've had a letter to say that patronages are being reviewed and we'll find out more in the new year.

KillingMeDeftly · 19/12/2022 18:23

I mean, in 20 years time "working royal" will be narrowed down to William, Kate and their children. Even if Harry and Meghan hadn't departed there would be nowhere near as many working royals as there were a few years ago. Things will have to change.

I find it quite strange the way that both Beatrice and Eugenie seem to do some charity work - e g. this visit

www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-11419881/Princess-Beatrice-Princess-Eugenie-step-meet-incredible-veterans.html

But they don't count as "working royals" - they clearly wouldn't be asked to do it if they weren't royal? The dividing line seems a bit murky to me.

I feel like they have done more of this sort of stuff of late - I wonder if they will continue to pick up a few charity gigs but not officially be "working royals"

Maireas · 19/12/2022 18:31

I agree, @KillingMeDeftly . Things will change.
No murky dividing line, @MusicstillonMTV - they're not working royals. They can attend events and do charity work but not represent the Crown, technically only as private individuals. Obviously the cachet of their titles helps the charity.

I agree that technically they aren't representing the crown but 90% of people will assume otherwise when a Princess is a patron of a charity

Maireas · 19/12/2022 18:37

That's why they have to be careful and not compromise the situation. To this point they have been quite wise. However, no funding or tax payer protection.

I think this is common for a lot of the extended royal family. They take their privileged position seriously. For example Prince and Princess Michael of Kent are involved with about 150 charities between them.
I thought about them when someone mentioned genetics. George v and Tsar Nicholas II looked the spit and Prince Michael strikes an amazing resemblance too.
