am I the only MNer to hate pockets?

I find that pockets are always right where I least want extra bulk, ie over my breasts (32FF) or hips. Plus in dresses and blazers they quickly sag and pull the drape out of line.
And it's a faff to move things from outfit to outfit vs just having everything in my one (small!) handbag that I can grab and go.
But it seems like everyone else is screaming for them.

I’m never going to put a phone or wallet in a flimsy fabric pocket of a skirt or dress so what on Earth is the point of them?!

Handkerchief. I'm a sneezer.

I hate those t-shirts with stupid little pockets on them. So ugly.

I like zipped pockets (walking trousers and fleeces) if I want to carry keys. I've never lost one whereas DH has twice managed to lose his copy of my car key out of his deep manly trouser pockets while out walking.

Pockets are useful within the house for phone and reading glasses.

I like pockets in pj bottoms and trousers. But I loathe them in skirts and dresses and am always baffled by the whole “this dress is amazing it has POCKETS” breathy excitement. It adds bulk and spoils the line and look. I’m never going to put a phone or wallet in a flimsy fabric pocket of a skirt or dress so what on Earth is the point of them?!

I wore a full circle skirt dress with pockets to a wedding pn Saturday. The dress was sturdy cotton (not stretch material) and the pockets were deep enough for my phone on one side and keys/card in the other. Amazing to not need to carry a bag around.
