Your Tinted moisturiser recommendation

Following on the trail of the Foundation thread, where many posters are finding a TM gives a better result, I’d love your recommendation. Back in the day I used Laura Mercier’s TM but I have read that it is no longer the same formulation. Thanks in advance!

I love La Roche Posay Effaclar one.

CinnamonSweet73 · 02/12/2022 08:50

I like Nars.

Jericha · 02/12/2022 08:50

I like Bobbi brown

GonnaBeYoniThisChristmas · 02/12/2022 08:50

Go a shade lighter if in doubt.

BriocheBriocheBrioche · 02/12/2022 08:52

Eborian CC crème!

Whatevernext1 · 02/12/2022 08:53

Bare minerals complexion rescue.

beguilingeyes · 02/12/2022 10:25

I still like Laura Mercier. The Nars one is excellent.

I also recently used the LRP one and liked it very much.

I really like the Clarins Milky Boost.
It's expensive, but a little goes a long way.

Firsttimemama12345 · 02/12/2022 10:45

Loreal does a few different affordable bb creams, i use the age perfect bb cream, it has lots of skin care benefits and spf in it as well. The coverage is medium and it has a really natural finish, the only complaint i have is the shades available.

Firsttimemama12345 · 02/12/2022 10:51

For a high end one, i really recommend Dr Jart beauty balm, the finish is really skin like and its skin care benefits are unrivaled.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Defence is good. But have recently discovered Origins Energy Boosting Tinted Moisturiser which is brilliant. It is SPF 40. I put it on top of my usual moisturiser. I am nearly 60 though so my skin is not greasy

Bananaman123 · 02/12/2022 11:24

Another vote for NArs, lovely product

AdventuringAway · 02/12/2022 11:25

Nars is my favourite. Often cheapest at John Lewis, especially if you trade in used pots for £5 off.

SheWoreYellow · 02/12/2022 11:44

Yes to the Euborian. The IT CC is pretty good too, the the Euborian is lovely. And smells lovely too, just nice and fresh.

ERborian! I can’t spell it!

princessbear80 · 02/12/2022 12:01

Another vote for Erborian CC crème. I use the anti redness one. It’s makes my skin look lovely, and not like I’m wearing make up. Plus once it’s on, I don’t notice it.

lindyloo57 · 02/12/2022 16:19

Eborian for me too.

SabiRiver · 02/12/2022 16:24

Clinique cc cream is good but I still use a moisturiser underneath so maybe not what you're looking for

TheOGCCL · 02/12/2022 18:30

I tried the Erborian but it just looked orange and nothing special but always recommended on here. I am pretty pale, maybe that's it.

My two favourites are Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue and Nars Radiant Tinted Moisturiser. I tend to use the BM more in the summer and Nars more in the winter.

BM just suits summer better as it gives a very glowing effect. Colour matching is more forgiving when my skin is a bit darker, I'll even wear a slightly darker shade and get away with it. It also seems to improve the texture of skin over time, like a skincare product.

The Nars one has a great balance of not being too shiny but not too flat either. There isn't a perfect shade match for me but when my skin is paler Terre Neuve is pretty close.

Shitfather · 02/12/2022 18:45

YSL Nu is gorgeous. Ask Boots for a sample.

Sparkletastic · 02/12/2022 18:53

Erborian BB - find the colour match is better than the CC

LesLavandes · 02/12/2022 18:59

Trinny BFF

viktoria · 02/12/2022 19:15

Eborian for me too
Came across it on Mumsnet and absolutely love it

Mydogisweird · 02/12/2022 19:58

Nars, it’s one of the few products I’ve bought again and agin. I have quite sensitive skin and it’s lovely. I really rate their foundation too.
