Your Tinted moisturiser recommendation

Following on the trail of the Foundation thread, where many posters are finding a TM gives a better result, I’d love your recommendation. Back in the day I used Laura Mercier’s TM but I have read that it is no longer the same formulation. Thanks in advance!

I tried the eborian bb cream but I found it too thick more like a foundation

I became allergic to LM and spent ages trying to find a dupe. This is it! You can buy a sample that has all the shades so you trial and get the right one for you

I have found Nars really great after always being loyal to Laura Mercier. I just didn’t get on with their new formula so made tte switch. Liked the texture of Eborian but it went a bit orange on me.

Just the best thing ever. So glowy and fresh

I'm using YSL Nu - good range of colours, smells lovely, and it doesn't break me out, which every other tinted moisturiser does.

Matildahoney · 02/12/2022 20:53

Nars for me too.

@AdventuringAway trade in used pots for £5?? Is this on all Nars products? I know nothing about this!

MarcelEtCeleste · 02/12/2022 20:56

I use Erborian BB (nude). The CC didn’t match my skin tone.

I’ve used LM and Chantecaille in the past but this one is so skin-like, I’m on my third tube.

IT Cosmetics CC Cream.

Nars or Trinny BFF - think I prefer Nars

userxx · 02/12/2022 21:02

There's loads of shades for Nars, has anyone guessed and bought online ?

AdventuringAway · 02/12/2022 21:12

@Matildahoney John Lewis have a recycling scheme where you take in five used beauty/skincare products and they give you £5 off a beauty transaction. You have to have their loyalty card and there are some limits to what they’ll accept (eg no aerosols) but it’s a really good deal! www.johnlewis.com/our-services/beautycycle

AnotherCountryMummy · 02/12/2022 21:15

Erborian for me as well. The first one that hasn't oxidised and gone orange for me. And I just love the consistey/coverage. I can put it on without looking, like moisturiser, and be confident it will look natural and blended.

littleone7 · 02/12/2022 21:33

To all who use Erborian...do you have the BB or CC one? Thanks!

Murasakispillowbook · 02/12/2022 21:35

Erbrorian CC Clair! It's magic!

doublecleansed · 02/12/2022 21:49

Nars. It’s pretty much the only make-up product i’m consistently loyal to.

Workbabysleeprepeat · 02/12/2022 21:51

A vote for No7 city lights tm

someonecookmydinnerplease · 02/12/2022 22:00

For every day use I use Boots No.7 city lights TM.

For a more 'make up' look I use Nars.

I find the Nars one is a bit more foundation like than the boots No7 one, I find the Nars one to heavy for day time.

Matildahoney · 02/12/2022 22:53

Thanks @AdventuringAway I didn't know that! I'll look into it. X

TheGander · 04/12/2022 18:21

Thanks for your suggestions everyone. Looks like Nars and Erborian are consistently popular. I’m also intrigued by Clarins- when I was a student my impossibly glamorous roommate wore a Clarins TM, although I’m sure they don’t do the same formulation anymore.
