I've used this cleanser before and quite liked, but seem to recall it is better in the summer - can't remember if that's because I found it drying or if it's the one that smelled like cucumbers!
Tried the mascara today and while sceptical (primarily because it's twice the price of my usual L'Oréal) I was impressed. My eyes kept tearing in the cold wind and it didn't smudge, yet it was easy to remove. The teeny tidy wand did make application tricky though. If I'm feeling flush I might buy a full size.

Day 15, double products!

These both look good! I already have a mini JVN from a goody bag. I don’t really use styling products but this looks like it also has some protective qualities. Also I love Jonathan van Ness! The shampoo will also come in handy.

I've been wanting to try this JVN cream so this is a win for me. I love the hydrating shampoo and conditioner from this range, and have vaguely wavy, textured hair so wondering if this cream will help give some definition.
I use the living proof dry shampoo so curious about this one - good size for the travel bag!

I think this is one for 17-year-old DS2 - my menopause skin is dry as a bone, the last thing I need is less sebum!

I'm happy with today. Sisley is a spendy brand and not one I would buy ordinarily so I'm happy to have a couple of sample sizes to try out. I've heard good things about the Black Rose Cream Mask, particularly for dryer, more mature (ahem!) complexions.

I’m happy with Sisley too. They’re very small but at least there are two of them. I think people complained last year when there was only one and it said “free sample” on it. I notice this year it says “gift” or “free gift” (I’m too lazy to go back upstairs and check)

Crossing my fingers that Boring Week is over! Would have been lovely to get bigger sizes, but I'm always happy to try Sisley.

Yeah nice to try but I would prefer a larger size of a less expensive product. To be fair, I received a sample size Sisley saffron cream (can’t remember the name) in a goody bag and it’s lasted me ages.

I’m wearing it today and I like it

Much prefer skincare to make up but as make up things go I quite like this one. I'm a bit clumsy with make up so tend to only use subtle things that don't emphasise where I've got it wrong 😂

I'm away for the weekend and didn't bring my boxes with me. However, I am a big fan of the Bobbi brown cream eyeshadow stick things that seem to be v similar to today offering? This looks like it will be a good one for me. In the past advent calendars that I've had have only included the obligatory glitter nail polish, black eye liner, and a dodgy pink lip gloss.
I've gotten on with the lipstick (despite the scent) and this eye shadow looks right up my street, so quite pleased!
