Wish I'd opened the calendar before I'd 'done' my face as could do with the hydration. I've used this before (from another beauty box) it's a decent enough product but not one I'd purchase full size.

Still waiting on the Bobbi Brown.....

It’s so expensive to buy so I’m expecting actual MAGIC.

I’d kind of hoped this was a spray that I could use over foundation when I took it out of the box. I’ll definitely give it a whirl tomorrow morning though.

This is worth £22 which takes our total on day 7 to £170. We’re now past the point of what we paid for it (or at least most of us, thanks to the discount and the refund guarantee)

I like the sound of layered skincare. My skin does get so much drier at this time of year with the cold air so it’ll be good to get a bit of extra TLC.

I have also realised that the contents listed on the JL site are in order of appearance so don’t check back if you’re wanting a surprise each day!

SPOILER: the Molton Brown shower gel was supposed to be in Day 4. I don’t know when the Bobbi Brown is meant to be making an appearance..

Love Elemis and will enjoy using this 😊 - I did think it would be bigger but that's me not checking the sizes properly!

A small drawer of disappointment for me today. I don't really wear lipstick and I'm not sure this shade is right for me anyway.
I'm going to learn my lesson from past advent calendars and not try it out, confirm it's not for me and then be stuck with it, and put it aside unused for swapping/selling.

I don't normally like lipstick but I tried this in and it's lovely.

I like MAC lipsticks and don’t have this one (glad it’s not the usual suspects of Mehr, Twig or Ruby Woo) so I’m happy.

I wouldn’t normally choose this colour lipstick but it’s really nice!

So nice not to have a red lipstick in an AC for once.

Happy with today’s lipstick too. I actually bought a nude Mac lipstick recently in a bit of a rush at an airport but it’s a bit too brown - this one looks more what I was after. Will try it later.

this is a swap for me along with the CT palette. I love Mac lipsticks but I know the colour won’t suit. It’s probably a good shade for most people though.

Having now tried the lipstick on I’ve upgraded this to a Wow! product. Great shade, not quite a nude but definitely a your lips but better shade. And not a matte - so fed up with mattes.

I love this lipstick.

I’m another one who’s happy with the lipstick. It’s not a colour I would have chosen but I’ve tried it today and on me it’s a pinky-nude so will be ideal when I want some colour but not too bold. That’s the Bobbi brown cheek colour and the lipstick so far that I definitely wouldn’t have chosen but really love and think I will use several times a week. This is what I love about advent calendars! I try to remind myself of this when I get a dud day - it can’t be perfect for me every time. But so far, so good 😊

I never wear lipstick, only gloss, so I’ll most likely regift this to a friend who does.

Love todays - I'm keen to try the new lustreglass formula as often found mac lipsticks to be drying. Syrup is such a nice classic shade
