....or is that too bride-y??? I've a dark green velvet dress to wear, but it's really plain, I'm looking for a way to jazz it up (also in my head have a peaky blinders/ Helen mccrory vibe, not that I'm anything near as foxy as she!)

To be honest, the sequin jacket would be great with jeans and boots just to the pub too.

As soon as I read your post I thought of the M&S sequin blazer. I've been beaten to posting it! It would look great for the wedding and you'd get years of Xmas & other dos out of it.

The sequin blazer would be fabulous. I think a caplet would look odd over a long-sleeved dress.

I wouldn't as it's a classic winter bride look - unless you find one in a different colour? (Assuming the bridesmaids aren't!)

As someone has already pointed out, it will be very versatile suitable for jeans as much as dressed. Enjoy.

Necklace wise, maybe jade or abalone shell necklace and earrings, would work with a dark green dress.
