Happy New Year everyone! Finally fallen into bed but can't sleep - we are staying with friends and have had the most fab night but DS couldn't sleep so is in the big bed with me, and DH is on the air mattress - both of them are snoring!

@EnoBaby I always love your outfits, those side stripe trousers are lovely! With regards to trousers, I'm 5'6 so not really qualified to comment, but a lot of my Cos trousers could do with being a couple of inches longer on me, so possibly an option to not need too much tailoring?

Happy New Year! We had a relatively quiet evening, although we did stay up to welcome in 2023.

I’m debating whether to attempt to get through 2023 without buying any new clothes. Although I expect that is too ambitious. Perhaps I’ll try revenue-neutral instead (so only spending eBay profit + ONS covid study vouchers).

Happy new year everyone! Some lovely outfits. Our NYE party plans were scuppered by DH coming down with the lurgy so he had an early night and I stayed up to midnight drinking too much wine and watching Derry girls. Had a lovely early swim this morning though and enjoying a lazy day today. Wearing wool harem pants and my Eribe Westray fairisle jumper, thick wooly socks and warm slippers.

I have vowed to do a no 'new' buy until the end of March. I've been feeling guilty about the amount of 'stuff' I have and there is nothing new that I need. I will continue to buy and sell on Vinted but nothing new.

@EllaPaella i ordered about £1500 of sale and new clothes all of which arrived sat and I think all but possibly 2 or 3things are going back. Undecided about the Leather leggings from Hush ( a bargain in the sale) and a zip up knit from me and em. I think I'm keeping the midi velour skirt form me and em but I was very strict with myself and am not keeping the things that are just 'okay'. I'm not going to do a no buy as I've found I've put on weight with my illness so I may need to size up a few things. Hope DH recovers soon

@OublietteBravo spend neutral is good. I just have to really need something or really love. No mediocre and if I question it then it’s not 100 right and goes back. I have really improved to how I was.

I bloody love fireworks, can't help it there just so pretty, we had a fab new years eve sitting in, all at the window watching the fireworks all 11 displays, the kids loved it (I did them pretend cocktails😉) even the dog joined in watching, nothing bloody scares him lovely chunk he is🥰

I like the idea of openwater swimming then get grossed out by the idea of the amount of sewage the government have been pumping into our waters!😵‍💫

This is the best outfit pic I can do today - the late night and sinusitis caught up with me today so I didn't make any effort with my day time clothes really as feeling pretty crap. Done the long drive home now and spending the evening in front of the fire in my fab new pjs (Christmas pressie from my wonderful friend).

Slippers - Onaie (another present from another lovely friend. They are lovely slippers but I can't recommend them as they developed a fault within 2 wears and their customer service was TERRIBLE. They're still wearable, but the reminder of how unhelpful they were annoys me every time I see it).

I've been very busy with the Big Cleanup and some family matters, we are waiting for PIL to come visit us. I'm not feeling like posting any more of my boring nursery run outfits cause I'm wearing the same clothes anyway, so I guess I'll stick to posting weekend outfits only for the time being.

My outfit from going to a buddhistic temple the other day (we take part in one ceremony, it's a family tradition).
Top - Sezane
Cardigan - Boden
Coat - Blue Label Crestbridge (I've the biggest size out of 3 this brand offers, and you can see how tight the sleeves are, it's uncomfortable to raise my arms in it, and I can't say the Boden cardigan is too chunky.🤷‍♀️)

Two other outfits.

1. Boden dress, Joules boots and hat, Uniqlo coat
2. Sezane knit, Boden jeans, Uniqlo scarf

@toucaninjapan lol, to be honest I'm still trying to figure that one out too, I think I own about 40/50 pairs of shoes now, obviously some I have had for alot of years even before dc were born, but I still need to figure out where to put them, I'm thinking of asking dh to make me a little/big shoe shelf and I'll make the curtains (toile obvs') to go around it so that its inkeeping with the bedroom theme 🤔 hmmm, what a conundrum!!
I'm absolutely loving the boden dress, joules boots and coat look, it looks fab and that pink jumper is gorgeous!

Not very imaginative but I really like this outfit! Will add chunky ankle boots ( Penelope Chilvers) and socks and brown puffer when we do a house viewing this afternoon.

I haven’t really been tempted by anything in the sales. Or at least not by anything practical - there is a sequin playsuit I absolutely love, but I can’t imagine any occasion that it would be appropriate for!

I really need to go through my wardrobe again and decide what can go. I haven’t really done this since the end of the summer.
