Major shout out to @toucaninjapan - thank you for the tip re the DMs with the amazing Japanese print on them. No, I can’t remember the artists name but I knew my boyfriend loves him so got him the boots for Christmas and they totally rock. He loves them.

Hope everyone had a lovely day. I had the most adorable present from DD. When she was 4 for my Christmas she painted some little flowers and cut them out and put them in a small box she covered in tissue paper. I keep this in my bedside drawer it’s so precious. This year she had a pendant made with one of the flowers on it with ‘heart soul’ on the reverse. Just perfect.

Merry Christmas everyone! My covid seemed to be a very mild infection thankfully and I only felt rough for a day or two so was fine by Christmas eve apart from mouth ulcers which seem to have improved dramatically overnight thankfully.
Hope everyone had a lovely day with their loved ones. I ate way too much.. off to redeem myself now with a run and a sea swim.
My darling DS (20) bought me a beautiful Barbour jacket for Christmas- a total surprise and I absolutely love it. His first Christening earning money so he said he wanted to treat me, so thoughtful. Having him home over Christmas has been the best gift ever. Lucky enough to have a whole week off work now, so has my husband so two chill days then we are off down south to visit friends and family for new year.
Boxing day is my favourite day - total chill day - all the stress and adrenaline is gone. Hope you all enjoy the rest of the bank holiday. Here is my lovely jacket, not a great picture but I love the colour and the detail of the hood.

And all the presents are fab, I don't know how my dh did it because I am a hound when it comes to knowing what I've got, but he got me a Tiffany's pearl necklace which I'm bloody over the moon with, he's such a sneaky bugger🤣 and he got me a lovely dress too which I wore yesterday aswell, @Purplecatshopaholic i got my dh 2 pairs of dr martens(hes mental for them) the george and the dragon pair and the william hogarth renaissance pair, i couldnt get them anywhere until a friend of mine who works in the dr martens in Westfield said she had those pairs knocking about in the back of the store.. phew!! I'll reenact for pics when I can haul my arse out of bed, (too many disaronnos) kids are still playing on new ps5 eating heroes, all feels right in the world 😉

Enjoy the swim @EllaPaella I have managed an Open water swim. Cold wind made it feel much colder.

I wore ‘leather’ skinnies and a sparkly ted baker top yesterday. Today jeans, thermal top and hoody.

My DH did so well with Christmas gifts this year. My fitbit has been relegated to the drawer as I have a sparkly watch as a replacement!

Stayed in my Christmas pyjamas today. I love a chilled Boxing Day - did some yoga, gad a tidy and just now eating spring rolls and tempura vegetables and drinking a Rioja

I was at sandbanks today and was very tempted to have a dip it looked gorgeous @EllaPaella but I didn't pack my costume, I've been feeling so rough the last few weeks that I thought I wouldn't be up for it. Dsis has been breaking ice in the lakes she swims in 🥶

@Sooverthemill chaos and noise, you've just described my house all the time🤣 (were all super noisy hehe!) It's madness at times, I'll cry when mine all move out, itll be too quiet, although they always inform me "mum I'm never leaving I'm staying forever, my wife/husband can move in here" lol
